A trip to Hong Kong

In his slumber, Kai felt a tiny prick in his wrist as if a needle had been inserted into his skin. He felt it, it hurt a tiny bit but he wasn't able to react, not even a flinch. He couldn't feel his limbs and his entire body felt heavy... as if someone was pressing him down atop him as he laid on the bed. Even his lids and lips weren't obeying his command to open. It made him question if he was even really awake or dreaming.

"...do this." He heard a muffled female voice say from beside him. Now he was sure he was awake, but why was he finding it really hard to move?

"Its already been four days. I can't continue injecting him with this to keep him unconscious, it'll have side effects when he wakes up." The woman said again.

Oh? Was that why he felt heavy? He's been dosed with a drug.
