CH 1 - THE BEST GOD DAMN GAME !!
Friday , 30th MAY , 2035, It was as normal a day as one could be. There was hustle-bustle on the streets of various countries. Adults were going to their jobs , children to school and housewives cleaning their homes . But the most important thing to our story is that people were playing games !
Streamers , gamers , game testers , speed-runners , reviewers , game programmers and gaming media outlets were all at work. The gaming industry in recent times had expanded because of a new , cheap and good quality VR gaming capsule , the capsule was released as a way to make VR games more accessible and it was a meteoric success, destroying every other VR console at the time. It now had a monopoly over the market and had already sold over 1 billion capsules globally.
VR was the now the most biggest gaming market , leaving consoles and PC's behind.

On a popular gaming forum a AD for an new game came up.
- Play the newest , best and most realistic VR game that has been released up until now !!
it was provided with a link but not a trailer nor pictures of the game which was almost a norm for these types of ads, so people just thought it was a scam and skipped past it. Maybe nobody clicked on that link on that faithful day and this story would never be told... but someone did click that link !
The first player of the game, a player that would go down in the games history - Danno

" it looks relatively new , with zero downloads ? looks like i will the first guy to try this out ! " Danno said as he looked at ' Blanks ' game page - (Blank is the name of the game )
as soon as the game finished downloading he went inside his VR capsule and loaded the game on.
As soon as he entered the world he could not help but be amazed !
his eyes felt as though they had been rejuvenated with life ! he saw an absolutely beautiful scenery in front of him that even his soul could feel.
A thick patch of trees surrounded a long and narrow river, little leaves flew out of the tree as strong , cold winds hit them. Little crow like birds flew out into the sun. in the background a shrill but sure sound of little insects came into his ears as well.
Danno took a long ,deep breath and felt his lungs fill up with new energy as the freshest air he had ever felt went inside his lungs.
" what the hell is this ? " he thought
" is this not supposed to be a obscure game with zero downloads ? why does this feel so real !?!?!? the top tier companies would kill to get this games graphics and realistic nature " he thought to himself again
he dashed out of his starting location and ran up to a tree. He then looked at what starting items he had and saw that he was wearing light clothes from head to toe.
He also had a sort of leather belt from which a small, stone axe was hanging.
He instinctively grabbed the axe and gripped it with both of his hands and with full force began striking the tree , as the axe struck the tree , he weirdly felt relaxed and at peace. It was like sound hard labour in a natural environment satisfied his primal urge or something...
after about half an hour he was finally done chopping the tree , the tree fell down with a huge THUD! as the stump and the upper part of the tree were separated.
huffing for air Danno looked at the fallen tree with a weird sense of accomplishment.
" what the hell do i do now ? " a question popped up in his mind
" what can i do with this ? " he though , but then he noticed that he also had a small stone hammer and a sharp pointed stone tied to a stick , probably for carving the wood or other purpose he did not know yet
After inspecting the tools Danno first tried to carve the wood into something... anything useful but his patience ran out and he ended up carving some stick figures on the wood instead . he then decided to go to the river as he was getting nothing done.
he went near the river and took a sip of the water there, the water was cold and amazingly fresh.
" I can't get anything done alone ! i need to get the others idiots in here with me ! " he exclaimed and went off the game to call his friends

- Swordbear - Looks like Danno is pretty serious about this game otherwise he would not use this despicable trick to make me play !
- Bottlecap - Please for the love of god don't do that brother !! i will go to heaven and earth for you !
- Coalberet - Shit ! , he has pulled out his trump card ! i have no other option than to join , I planned to get to classes but a little gaming won't hurt I guess

Danno - DAMN! another one of you has a trump card !? eh , forget that i promise with with all my credibility that this is THE BEST GOD DAMN GAME !!
Coalberet - well your credibility is uhm... honestly shit. but ! i will trust you this one time , don't let me down.
After this Danno sent them the download link and they all went to the download page.
" what the hell is this ? Danno did say it was a obscure game but ONLY 1 DOWNLOAD !? and do the developers hate their own freaking game ? where THE HELL is the trailer or even DESCRIPTION !? " Coalberet thought as he downloaded the game " I bet the game is horrible and Danno is trolling "
All the others were of a similar opinion. they all thought that the game would be terrible since it was so sketchy and weird. All of them wanted to scold and beat the shit out of Danno when they got in the game. They had absolutely no expectation for the game whatsoever.
Danno had already joined the game again and was busy exploring the littel jungle he had spawned in.
After some time he had rough idea of the little jungle.
" There are mostly trees in the jungle and the small river I saw earlier. There is also a very dark patch somewhere in the middle of the forest as some tall trees were covering the sunlight " Danno recollected
Also by that time his friends had also joined the game and spawned in the same location as him.
Danno quickly went to group up with them , but he saw them in a state of daze as soon as they joined the game.
" Woah ! Why does touching grass feel so good ? Is this what people meant when they told me to touch some grass ? " Banjodude said as he touched , smelled and even tasted... some of the grass off the ground
" These tools !!! Such profound crafting ! The stones are of the highest quality and so is the wood ! " Coalberet said as he admired the tools
" Damn ! The air feels so fresh , i didn't know the wilderness was so magical ! " Swordbear said as he was sucked into the world
" How can a game be of such high quality be so obscure !?! I bet all the streamers and gaming companies would give a arm and a leg for this type of game ! " Bottlecap
" This game has been out for like 2 hours , I think it will take much longer for people to join, but once they start finding out about this game the players will flood in " Danno reasoned
After that they decided to start by building a house for safety as they did not know what would happen at nightfall.

BOXU was a small streamer , only getting around 30 viewers per stream, but he loved his viewers and his viewers loved him he had build a small but lovely community of viewers , he was a regular salary man who streamed for only about a hour and a half.
He and his small community had many inside jokes and often joked around.

This was an inside joke as BOXU often found a lot of games where you could eat things , so this became a joke where he would only find eating games.
" today we will play ' Blank ' i saw its AD in gaming form , it didn't even have a trailer so will will be going completely blind ! the link to the game has been sent in the chat , since this is a multiplayer game i think it will be more fun to play with you guys "
BOXU often talked heavily while playing games , But as soon as he joined the game he could not utter a single word.
The scenery was as clear as the day, the water looked nothing like reality and the forest he was staring at seemed to draw him in with its lively green image.
He then noticed that his glasses were not present in the game , BOXU had been wearing glasses since a very early age and the world appeared a little blurry to him so he couldn't not truly appreciate the beauty of the world , but in the game he could see as clearer than ever before !
Tears sprang from his eyes as he was overwhelmed by this emotion.
- wait , why is BOXU crying !?
- I can't bear to watch him man what's wrong ?
- please tell us what happened, we will definitely help !
- wait is the game so bad it's making BOXU cry
- we will destroy the game maker for making our dear BOXU cry !
BOXU saw the messages and was shocked , then he realized he was in selfie mode so the viewers could only see him and not the scenery.
He quickly switched to third person view and the viewers could not believe what they were seeing.
- it looks like my eyes were just dropped in holy water and put back on ! Why does the scenery look so amazing !
- how can a game look this real ? Isn't this better than 4k ?
- the popular games in the market cant even compare to this !
- how is this a trash game ?!?!?
- as a person who has wore glasses all his life i can say that if i saw this scenery even i would cry like this !
Immediately many people went to play the game with BOXU and they joined in.
BOXU greeted all his viewers and they were ready to start playing , but then they heard some faint noises in the distance.
" we should probably explore the noises before we do anything " BOXU said worriedly
" yeah there could be anything out there for all we know "
" i volunteer to be in the front since i know a little boxing "
" i also volunteer cause i want to protect senpai BOXU "
"Don't refer to me as senpai... It sound weird I don't know " BOXU said
so all of them made there way towards the noise and a after a while they arrived at a small clearing. the noises became clearer and they saw 5 people build something
" Danno get my god damn tools !! "
" you don't have to scream every time , i'm not deaf idiot !! "
