ch - 8 Chaos At Night (3)

The air at midnight was chilly and fast. All the players who were outside could feel it clearly on their skin now as they were too distracted in the heat of the battle to notice before.

The battle was almost over ! Only one enemy remained... One monstrous enemy...

" AUGHHH !!!! " The monster screamed , his voice was deafening , even some of the players resting far away could hear it , some people sleeping on trees even fell down...

Then the hulking monster started running towards the person who had just challenged him. Every time his foot touched the ground a loud THUD could be heard as though he was shaking the ground itself.

Saliva dripped down from his creepy open mouth as his eyes were fixed on his prey.

But the scar faced player did not even show the slightest of reactions , he just waited for the beast to approach him.

The beast flung his body towards the players , but the player carefully and quickly sidestepped.

CRASH ! A loud crashing noise came as the monster dived headfirst into the tree behind the player. the imprint of his head had been plastered on the tree.

" AUGHH !! " the beast roared once again and somehow louder than before, his rage could be felt clearly

Then suddenly a small crack came. the noise was faint and short , only those who were paying attention to the monster or had good hearing ability could hear it.

Then suddenly another crack came this time louder , and then another ! and then another ! and suddenly the cracking became louder and louder until everyone could hear it.

The cracking was obviously coming from the monster and then suddenly his exposed bones began to slowly and painfully retract inside his body once again , strems of blood flowed down from them as they retracted.

The beast looked to be in excruciating pain and agony as he screamed louder and louder every passing second...

THUD ! Then suddenly the beast fell onto the hard ground, but the cracking did not stop , No ! It just kept on getting louder and louder.

Only this horrifying noise was audible in the otherwise silent night... The entirety of the players present there were deadpan silent as they waited and waited for the cracking to stop...

And then suddenly piercing the silence like a arrow Trevor's voice rose up.

" Quick kill him before he gets up ! "

Heading his command the nearest player nervously rushed towards the monster.

But then the cracking abruptly stopped.

Getting a bad feeling about the stopage of the noise the scar-face shouted " No ! Stop don't approach him anymore !! "

It was however too late for that.

A bone flew out from the beast's back and pierced the poor player's head , creating a grotesque hole through his face, instantly killing him.

However that was not the only bone , several more bones flew out from his hands , legs , stomach and even out of his mouth and eyes...

The bones created large and obvious holes from where they exited the body. blood and other bodly juices sprayed out from these holes , exposed muscles began tearing apart and some organs dropped onto the floor.

Rick who had a weak stomach immediately looked away and almost vomited upon seeing the disgusting sight.

Although all the players were accustomed to blood and gore as they had played many games but this was still too much for some players and they also turned their heads away...

" SAVVVEEEE MEEEEEE !!! " the tribal somehow managed to blurt out these words before he eventually succumbed to his own wounds.

Trevor was disgusted and horrified , not by the sight infront of him but what that sight revealed about the nature of the tribe.

" These damn tribals don't think twice before killing one of their own ? Forget that , them doing this so causally in a battle and then leaving must mean they have done this many times before ! How could anyone do these inhuman things ! This is a fate worse than death ! " He thought

Trevor himself knew he wasn't the kindest person out there, hell even his own team members would say he is strict and ruthless and will do anything to his achieve his goals. However This was too evil even for him !

" Are we gonna clean that mess ? " Scar-face asked

" Just leave that there for the time being , I think after that , we all deserve a good night sleep " Trevor said exhausted

Some players just sat on the ground trying to get their head together, and some just went straight towards the cave because they were exhausted.

" We can use the cave's to rest right , I'm asking since it looks like you guys own it ? " Racko asked Trevor

" Yeah sure , I don't allow outsiders to stay in our property, but I'll make an exception this time since you kinda saved my life... thanks by the way. " Trevor said as he to started going towards the cave for some much needed rest.

It is safe to say that everyone in the cave slept like rock !

" We're rich banjo !!!! " Swordbear shouted as he woke Banjo up

" Why are you screaming it's 11:50 pm in the night ! "

" Our video got like 100k views !!! "

Banjo almost jumped out his bed after hearing this and rushed towards his PC , he booted up his computer and saw that his video did have 100k views.

Banjo hugged swordbear in happiness and the both of them did a happy little dance out of pure joy.

After that they saw that banjo had gained many new subscribers and had also earned some ad revenue , But the most interesting thing they saw was that a new community had formed around the game , and was being advertised in the comments section.

The viewers had made a community surrounding the game. Banjo decided to check the website out and he saw some Key points mentioned on the community website were -

banjo and swordbear were pleasantly surprised by this , but they didn't have much time to think as soon sleep took over their senses , the excitement washed away and they went back to sleep.

bottlecap , Danno and all the other players in that group had logged off.. for the night.

Since Tommorow was Saturday and a holiday they all planned to finish the house up tommorow and explore the game world , cause they had not done anything else other than build and build and build...

After all of that everyone it that brings us to the end of Friday , 20th may 2035...

" It's a shining new day !!! , get up to the morning sun ! And have lots and lots of fun !! " The morning song blasted out from the living room TV

The sun was shining as brightly as ever ! It's rays piercing the home's of many people who absolutely did not want to get up , especially not on a holiday are you crazy or what ?!?!

" Ahh stop playing that good morning song on the TV I have been hearing this song for the past 7 years nonstop whenever I wake up ! " BOXU shouted from across the bedroom

" MOM ! Dad is telling me to turn the tv off !!! " The little girl cried as she tried to make an adorable face to get mom to vouch for her.

" Dear , let her watch the tv , she watches it everyday. " His wife said as she prepared the ingredients for the morning breakfast

" Can't a poor man get one day of good sleep ? " BOXU protested but after seeing his cute daughters face he gave up and got up from his bed.

After he had gotten off the game yesterday he could not stop thinking about his encounter within the game and he spent a good part of his sleeping time thinking of ways to better his fighting and improve the teamwork within his team.

That is why he could not do much sleeping last night.

" Alright today after eating breakfast, I'm gonna implement some of these plans that I have. " BOXU said as yawned his sleepiness still not going away...
