Thirteen Modesty

After arriving in Japan, I became a high school student named Kamiyagawa. Looking around—
Hanako crouched in the bathroom, waiting for someone to knock on the door; the Split-Mouth Woman wandered the streets with scissors in hand; Miss Mary's deathly calls echoed incessantly; the wails and barks in Inunaki Village never ceased; the Ubume searched for her long-dead child; the Aoandon smiled, enticing passersby to play with the lanterns of a hundred demons…
In a crumbling world rampant with sinister tales and malevolent spirits, Kamiyagawa set a small goal for himself:
"Defeat all the demons and monsters, and become the supreme ruler of ghosts and deities."

Fluorescent lights danced around the Divine Cabinet as Kamiyagawa was resurrected with full health once more.


He had successfully found an orderly neutral NPC, the Candle-making Monk, last night, and even bought two Soul-calming Candles from him.


Unfortunately, on his way back to the Divine Cabinet, he encountered the Granny Fire.


Kamiyagawa tried to kill the burning fireball with his Wood-cutting Axe, but of course, he failed and was shamefully logged off.


"But overall, no big deal, I, Kamiyagawa, am back."


Today, he re-entered Strange Tale World, and there were significant matters to attend to.


Kamiyagawa took out a Soul-calming Candle from the Mirage Pouch and placed it in front of the Divine Cabinet's small wooden sign, next to the Hannya's Shikigami figure.
