Thirteen Modesty

After arriving in Japan, I became a high school student named Kamiyagawa. Looking around—
Hanako crouched in the bathroom, waiting for someone to knock on the door; the Split-Mouth Woman wandered the streets with scissors in hand; Miss Mary's deathly calls echoed incessantly; the wails and barks in Inunaki Village never ceased; the Ubume searched for her long-dead child; the Aoandon smiled, enticing passersby to play with the lanterns of a hundred demons…
In a crumbling world rampant with sinister tales and malevolent spirits, Kamiyagawa set a small goal for himself:
"Defeat all the demons and monsters, and become the supreme ruler of ghosts and deities."

After exploring yet another half-collapsed dwelling, I found no materials or props worth picking up.


However, I did spot an isolated villager from Inunaki Village.


Since I looked and smelled like one of their own, the other party had little reaction.


When I got close enough to be about three steps behind the villager from Inunaki Village, Kamiyagawa reached out and drew the Bloodstained Firewood Knife from the Mirage Pouch.


The solitary villager began to gnash their teeth violently, finally realizing that there was something off about their approaching comrade.


The Bloodstained Chopper stabbed out straight towards the villager's flank!


The intense pain of a smashed kidney made the villager from Inunaki whine "woof, woof," but they did not dissipate into black smoke.


Kamiyagawa naturally gave the prey no chance to breathe or fight back.
