59. Another day.

"You really screwed up, huh?" Harry said, popping a piece of potato into his mouth. "I mean, just look at Hermione. She looks ready to blow up."

The girls, of course, had been ignoring me this morning and had even pulled in Luna and Hermione. So now I was stuck with Harry and Ron for breakfast, which wasn't the worst outcome, but still.

Sure enough, when I glanced over at the Ravenclaw table, Hermione had gone slightly red in the face, her hair looking more frazzled than usual as she glared at me. No idea what the girls had told her, but I could 100% expect a lecture later. Probably about responsibility, safety, or something equally boring.

As for Luna... well, her look of disappointment hurt my very soul. Like a critical hit to the heart.

"Yeah, I might've messed up a bit and made them worry. But it was for a good cause—cool lightning and fire powers! Look!" I raised my hands, lightning arcing on one as the other held a flickering fireball.

Harry paused mid-bite, his fork hovering in the air.

Ron even stopped eating. "Wicked!"

I pointed at Ron. "See? That was the kind of reaction I was expecting! I mean, look—I can cook without a pan now!" I grabbed a sausage from a nearby plate and channeled my flames, expecting a perfect, seared breakfast. Instead, the sausage instantly turned into a lump of charcoal. "Uhh... ignore that." I casually tossed it over my shoulder.

"Pfft." Harry couldn't help but laugh.

Despite the minor culinary failure, the biggest gain from all this was my Observation Haki improvement. Like Enel, I could now 'see' the bioelectricity of people and animals. Not only that, but I could sense everyone in the castle, even those moving around in nearby Hogsmeade. The ambient electricity in the clouds above was almost palpable—it was nearly always cloudy here, a perfect storm just waiting to happen.

If I wanted to, I could call down a lightning strike on someone in Hogsmeade while sitting right here in the Great Hall. It was practically a god-like ability.

"Well, I got some stuff to do." I grabbed a bacon sandwich off a nearby plate and stood up. "Plus, I want to avoid Hermione."

"Good luck with that," Harry said with a grin.

With that, I made my way back to Ravenclaw Tower, navigating through the familiar hallways until I reached my room. Since it was the weekend, there were no classes today, meaning I could focus on testing my new powers.

Inside my room, I approached my trunk and opened it, stepping inside. I navigated through its compartments until I reached my workshop. The space had replaced my original library/study since the library had grown too big and needed to be moved to the warehouse compartment.

Settling at my workbench, a portal opened beside me, and a small red stone dropped into my hand—the Philosopher's Stone. Since Serenity had snatched it during first year it had seen little use. I didn't exactly need the elixir of life when I had the fountain of youth, and we weren't short on money so no need for gold.

On the other side, an old cauldron appeared, one of many from the mountains of discarded items in the Room of Requirement.

Placing the stone against the cauldron, I watched as the transformation began. The dull black metal rapidly turned gold, shrinking slightly as it became denser. Science and magic working together—fascinating.

Once the transmutation was complete, I let my hand shift into pure lightning and sank it into the metal. Under my control, the golden cauldron melted and reshaped, forming a perfect gold bar.

The ability to manipulate and shape metal with lightning was just another perk of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. Sadly, I wasn't at Magneto's level, but I could still melt and reshape metal, even merge into it if needed.

I spent some time refining my control, melting and reforming more gold bars. Can never have too much gold, after all. It wasn't like we were hurting for money—Rachel, Yue, Serenity, and I had each received 100,000 Galleons and British Pounds upon arriving here—but our funds had only been going down since we were constantly buying things and never selling.

What kind of man would I be if I couldn't provide for my family?

More than just a money-making experiment, this was also crucial training. Having just consumed the fruits yesterday, my control over my powers was still rough. If I wanted to use them efficiently—especially in for simple things such as cooking, then I needed more control.

Still the pile of gold bars grew in size and I was able to clear out junk from my Gate of Babylon. I try to keep it nice and clean as I don't want it cluttered up with crap like Gilgamesh had his.

But inevitably...

Looking inside showed several pirate ships and treasure, suits of armor, furniture, guns, swords, cannon balls...

"Seems I need to do a bit of spring cleaning." Honestly it would only take me a bit to sort and organize everything in the Gate of Babylon as it was connected to my mind and currently my mind was on an entire different level.

Heavenly Restriction, making my base human thoughts superhumanly fast, occlumency helping me sort and organize my mind improving it further, Rumble-Rumble fruit further enhancing my thinking speed.

In a matter of minutes the entire gate had been organized and cleaned up. A portal opened up and a blast of fire and lighting turning all the garbage into ash and slag. Then that ash and slag were vanished with a wave of my wand.

"There we go!" I eyed my workshop and figured I could do some cleaning in here and the rest of the trunk as well. It wasn't bad but it could use a touchup. "Really wish I had my own house elf or at least a maid wife in the peerage. Tohru, Rem, Grayfia, all those top tier maids and here I am without one."

Shaking my head I start cleaning up the mess and organizing my trunk a bit.
