I finished the adjustments, and the pawn piece flashed as my body shifted.

Immediately, I found myself in a different place. My hands were much smaller than before—I was now six years old. A ring rested on my finger, and new notifications popped up one after another.

I barely had time to register everything before shifts began occurring in my body. Looking around, I confirmed I had arrived at my intended destination. Thousands of plants surrounded me, their vibrancy amplified by the presence of the massive pool in the center—half of it white, half red.

The Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. A heavenly treasure formed from the corpses of the Ice and Fire Dragon Gods. It accelerated the growth of plants and herbs by over a hundred times and contained fire and ice poisons so potent that a single drop could kill almost anyone on contact.

Nearby, several immortal herbs and poisonous plants thrived. A single one of these herbs could turn even a talentless cultivator into a peerless genius.

As soon as I arrived, my inner world reacted. A flash of yin-yang light spread from my body, washing over the well and the surrounding treasures. My inner world had the ability to absorb treasures of heaven and earth—and this place, with its unparalleled cultivation resources, was no exception.

The light vanished as quickly as it had appeared, and with it, everything in the area—herbs, poisons, and even the pond itself—was gone, leaving behind nothing but an empty crater.

This place originally belonged to Dugu Bo, a Rank 90+ Titled Douluo specializing in poisons. It was also meant to be a crucial resource for Tang San and the Shrek Seven Devils, aiding their path to godhood.

Which meant I needed to get the hell out of here. Fast.

My energy wings burst from my back, now a mix of lightning and fire due to my Devil Fruits. I shot into the sky like a rocket, determined to put as much distance as possible between myself and this place. The light from my inner world's absorption had surely been noticed—whether by someone or something.

It didn't take long to reach the edge of the Sunset Forest.

I had received some basic resources along with knowledge implanted in my brain. The spatial ring on my finger contained 100,000 gold spirit coins, my Martial Spirit ticket—which displayed only a single spirit, "Battle Armor and Weapons," at Innate Soul Power 10—and a few sets of clothing suited for my new body.

Setting down outside the forest, I relaxed for a moment. Now I could properly check over my new gains before moving on.

I didn't plan to stay here for long—just grab a few things from Tang San's inheritance before heading back. I had six months before the main storyline began, plenty of time to execute my plans. But I wasn't going to waste any of it.

Stepping into my inner world, I immediately spotted the new additions in the distance and flew over.

The Ice and Fire Well was releasing a mist into the air, and all the herbs were thriving. The 100x plant growth rate combined with my 1000x time dilation made this space a heaven for cultivation. I could also control whether the plants gained sentience or not. For now, I chose to keep them from developing sentience.

Nearby, several crystals and metals had formed—some radiating icy cold, others searing heat. No doubt minerals from underground that had absorbed the well's energy for thousands of years.

As an added bonus, hot springs had also appeared within my inner world. A natural bathhouse wasn't something I had planned on, but I wasn't going to complain.

Now, it was time to check out my Martial Spirits.

Raising my right hand, my first spirit manifested.

A set of silvery armor covered my body, its surface gleaming with an unearthly luster. In my hands appeared two massive warhammers, each bearing a distinct face—one frowning, one smiling.

[Hate Ground No Handle]

The armor looked wicked, and the strength enhancement it provided was nothing short of monstrous.

I raised my left hand, and my second spirit appeared.

A tiger emerged—a beast as black as night, its blood-red eyes gleaming with malice. It unfurled massive black wings, and a scorpion-like tail curled behind it, reminiscent of a manticore.

Dark Devilgod Tiger.

As soon as it appeared, dark thoughts flooded my mind. Ruthless, cruel, insatiable. I immediately countered them, activating Occlumency to suppress the influence. A normal person would likely succumb to these urges, becoming a mindless force of destruction.

Shaking it off, I dismissed the tiger for now and focused on my armor. The Hate Ground No Handle Set materialized around me once more, the warhammers adjusting in size to fit my smaller frame.

"There's some heft to these."

I swung one of the hammers experimentally.

BOOM.

The air trembled.

A grin spread across my face.

This… was going to be fun.
