Mysterious Mighty Figure, A River Flowing Through A Higher Dimension(Edited)

At this moment, no one could tell what was going on inside Tian Yongheng's mind.

He smiled faintly while driving his car and looking up at the bright sky that was slowly turning dark and stars becoming visible, with the galaxy coming into view.

He arrived home and went straight up to his room without even eating dinner.

His family was puzzled by the sudden change in his behavior, though they didn't seem to mind it too much.

They knew what kind of person he was. He must have been tired from the journey and just wanted to rest early.

...

Tian Yongheng lay on the bed as thoughts of what happened today crossed his mind.

All this wealth and possessions...they'll someday go into the hands of another individual. Why does it really matter..?

At this thought, he couldn't help but let out a soft sigh.

The life of a mortal really isn't it...only if immortality was real and eternal life achievable...

He closed his eyes slowly and fell into deep contemplation. Slowly, he drifted off into a peaceful sleep, the fatigue from earlier taking over him.

However, not much time had passed until he suddenly opened his eyes, and what entered his vision was nothing but pitch black darkness, as if only the empty void existed over his head.

He was startled and opened his eyes in suprise, only to find out that he was no longer in his room but in a dark, empty, and unknown place. There was no light here, or perhaps, light never even existed in this place. He couldn't tell what was the truth or if he was even awake right now or not.

"Is this a dream?"

He muttered to himself.

Looking around, there was still no sign of anything but pitch black darkness.

The only odd thing was that he could still see his hands, legs, and other body parts normally clear to one's own vision, though he couldn't figure out how.

After sitting in silence for a few more seconds, he turned his gaze downwards, and what came into view was a magnificent sight.

A river shimmering with divine light, with both its starting and end points indiscernible. It seemed both infinite yet also as if it was never there to begin with, like it was on a different, higher plane of existence but beneath his feet at the same time.

It hadn't been long before Tian Yongheng realized that he wasn't standing on the river. Instead, he was floating atop its surface, like there was an invisible barrier which prevented him from fully stepping into the river. He instinctively felt that something would go extremely wrong if he stepped inside of the river which flowed endlessly, causing no ripples on what seemed to be "water" at all.

Tian Yongheng was deeply shocked when he saw this scene, he tried to convince himself that it was all a dream, but it felt way too real to be a dream.

Suddenly, a majestic voice rose from nowhere.

"What is a Mortal doing here?"

Tian Yongheng subconsciously looked around, yet he found nobody.

The voice sounded again as a mysterious and illusory figure started to appear out of thin air.

"You're not supposed to be here...huh?"

Suddenly, the voice stopped abruptly.

Just by the appearance of the illusory figure in front of him, Tian Yongheng felt as if he was about to die from pressure.

Cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

"You're not normal. No wonder you were able to enter here."

The Majestic voice sounded again as everything around Tian Yongheng began to become blurry.

"We shall meet again if time comes."

The Majestic voice sounded for the last time before Tian Yongheng opened his eyes.

He sat up immediately and felt the warmth of his bed under him.

He had returned to his room.

He broke out in cold sweat as he recalled his previous experience.

'What..what was that!?'

He thought to himself.

He looked outside the window and realized it was already morning.

He cleared his thoughts and slowly got up from the bed.

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't forget the terrifying experience that seemed like a dream, but in fact it was not.

He cleaned himself up and got ready for school.

He didn't even eat breakfast and directly set off for school.

It was his birthday today and he turned 18, so he naturally received a lot of gifts and wishes from everyone around him.

After the classes end, he went outside with Hong Wen and their followers.

As the heir of the Hong Family, a relatively powerful family, Hong Wen naturally had a lot of followers just like Tian Yongheng.

The only difference was that Tian Yongheng was a level above him in all aspects.

When they went to a restaurant to eat, they suddenly heard a commotion outside.

"Don't you know who I am!?"

An arrogant voice came out from one of the people standing there.

He was surrounded by bodyguards, one look and anybody could tell he was a relatively important person.

Suddenly, one of Tian Yongheng's followers went upto him.

It was clear that he was guided by Tian Yongheng to calmly and politely end the commotion.

He said respectfully.

"This Young Master here, what's the matter? If anyone has done anything wrong here, please be magnanimous and let then be."

The arrogant young man didn't seem to hear those words, and ordered a 7 feet tall man who was one of his bodyguards.

The 7 feet tall bodyguard glared at the person who came out to stop them, and just as he was about to hit him, Tian Yongheng blocked him.

Tian Yongheng stared at him coldly, causing all the surrounding people to feel afraid of him.

They knew who he was.

The arrogant young master was angry when he saw this.

He yelled at Tian Yongheng.

"You! Don't you know that I'm the Second Young Master of the Wang Family!?"
