The Path to Immortality is elusive, and everyone wants to achieve it even if there's only a glimmer of hope.
Tian Yongheng is a person who regained his past life memories after his family was brutally slaughtered. His extreme fear of death and desire to be undying have forced him to step onto this dangerous path of Immortal Cultivation.
He is not a Chosen One who is the favored son of heavens, nor is he the reincarnation of a Great Emperor. Armed with a unique system of unknown origins and his obsession with immortality, he sets forth to carve a way of his own in this world where fate toys with one's very existence itself and cosmic horror-like beings devour universes for fun.
However, can he really touch the illusory, eternal and ethereal Immortal Dao that is everlasting and everchanging?
Will he ever be able to reach the end of this grand path to eternity, establishing himself as a myth and beyond? or will he also drown in the long river of history just like many others?

The background settings and world building of this story are greatly inspired by Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years. the main characters are also pretty similar, so if you like stories where the MC is a hidden powerhouse who, despite being hidden, is still known across the world, then you can give it a try. Please be patient while reading, as this is my first time writing a novel and don't hesitate to point out any mistakes I do in the comments.
Also, I'm not a native of China, so there are probably going to be a lot of mistakes in names and history and stuff, please bear with it.
Note: English is not my first language and the cover image is not mine.
Han Jue, huh? 😁 well, I would love to read your book but it's still... you know, chapters aren't enough to entertain me so I'll wait till there are 60 or 70 amassed. 👍
OK, I've read 185 chapters and have a pretty solid grasp of the story. I'll rate 5 stars, but will also provide some feedback. Pro's: Compelling story, makes you want to keep reading. Feels authentic to the Chinese style. Author keeps track of his characters and events and few plot holes I saw. Mostly decent grammar and isn't annoying to read for a native English speaker like many novels on here are. No Curse Book that solves everything without any effort (so far). Feedback: Somewhat shallow character interaction, a particular disciple is said to feel extremely close to MC more than their own father, but it feels unearned because we don't see any bonding scenes and relevant events that make such a staggering statement feel justified. Character emotional development can't happen off-screen or we the readers won't care about them and will feel like their relationships don't feel real. No romance (yet) - I get it, MC is busy cultivating, but won't he always be busy cultivating until the end of the story when he is The Supreme Creator God or whatever? If you're going to do it, then find a way to make it happen. Also make sure we get the proper emotion building to go with it, better to have no romance than 1 dimensional romance imo. For the future: One of the great limitations of TTP is how reliant on the System Han Jue was, the more you read the more you realised that the System was basically the MC with a Han Jue attached - the System was so ridiculously overpowered that a pig could have been the host and would have done just fine. Make sure that the MC stays front and centre, makes plans intelligently and acts based on human wants, needs and desires, otherwise just watching a System give out endless Deus Ex Machina type treasures that happen to solve all his problems just when he needs them gets old and is not conducive to a healthy novel long term. OK, that's all I can think of for now, you're a good writer, keep it up.
I like that you like top tier providence. its my first ever novel that was so interesting, it is also my favourite novel.
Great story 9/10 pretty simmilar to Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years but there are unique stuff and at most few things are simmilar but some things mc at that novel got late here he might get early or other way anyway its at most slight connection but yeah just like that novel its great, only problem is that autho uploads 3 ch per week.... which is very slow, as long as he uploads more it will be much better review: ch213
Really good story in my opinion . The grammar is pretty good for English not being your first language( I think you said that). The only thing I don’t like is that he pretty much gets the same rewards each time he cultivates maybe change it up a little instead of getting a new robe each time. I also dislike that the mc allows too many people to depend on him .
Story isn’t bad, but it’s simply a rehashing of Top Tier Providence. The description states that this takes inspiration from that novel, but it’s entirely too similar aside from the beginning and the characters themselves obviously. There’s no appeal to this novel if you’ve already read Top Tier Providence in my opinion.
Youre write is good. It’s true that some people will criticize but don’t take too much into account what others say, do what you like. I really like the world you created and I hope you can finish this work. 5stars[img=strong]
Very good work I encourage the author[img=update]
writing is good story development is not good, you try to imitate Han jue but your MC is subpar, the decisions he makes are not good, 1st why not hide your face?, 2nd why reveal your name ? 3rd why join that third rate sect with bad karma at all, though he said he wanted connections why not go pick some orphans and raise them atleast they will be royal to you even though there's a chance of betrayal, Han Jue was cautious but he knew how to enjoy a good woman, as a man you should aspire to have a good woman, but i bet your MC will remain a virgin til the end of times. Am really disappointed because your novel has a good potential,.
I don't know why the chapters are decreasing if it's like this then what's the point of reading
This is what every cultvation novel should strive to be this is in my opinion the best cultvation novel to grace this platform plz never drop Author-Sama
This is a great novel for those who like Han Jue. The writing is great with minimal mistakes and the story is still in the beginning stages it seems. Can’t wait for more chapters.
good novel
Harem?
very good writing I sincerely think that everything you have done is correct whether in the choices of the mc or the secondary characters. The story is very well organized. continue to do what you like, I think that’s how we can fully appreciate your work. courage
