Chapter 4- Richard’s pov

I acted with instincts I didn't think before acting out. I had abducted her last night on her way home and now she is lying on the bed sleeping. It's noon already and she is still asleep I have to wake her but I don't know how to.

I was hesitant, but I decided to take a closer look at her, and like I suspected she was even more beautiful up close.

I felt bad for her and wondered what explanation I was going to give her when she woke up. I'm not bothered about explaining myself because I don't have to. I am the alpha.

I resolved to pull the curtains and let the sunshine on her face that alone would wake her. I guess, most people are irritated by it.

She woke up pissed and I could see the confusion all over her face. I was a bit nervous I'd admit… okay maybe not me but my wolf was nervous and excited around her.

"Is this how you sleep all day?" I asked nervously but I tried to hide it, I hope I did.

She turned in my direction to see the person who just woke her and had the nerve to ask a question still.

"Is that why you pulled the curtains in that manner?" I could sense the irritation in her voice.

I didn't reply to her rather I kept staring at her and sipping my coffee. I was amused because it seemed to piss her off the more, I was really enjoying this.

She ignored me and looked around trying to figure out where she was and how she got there, though she was calmer than I had expected.

"You look confused," I stated the obvious.

"Obviously," she replied then paused for a while and hit her palm against her forehead like she recalled something. "You kidnapped me."

I scoffed. "Whatever you wish to believe."

She was about to make another sentence and I cut her short. I didn't want her to think we would be chat buddies "Breakfast will be ready in 30." and I walked away not looking back.

I asked one of the maidens to deliver a dress for her as she hadn't packed any of her belongings to this place.

Already seated at the dining table, waiting for her to arrive I could perceive her scent which meant she was close.

I stuck my eyes to the entrance and she walked in, in a yellow dress the color suited her and complemented her skin. She looked good, no doubt but I only had eyes for my Lisa.

Lisa my girlfriend introduced herself and they exchanged pleasantries. Of course, she is a nice girl.

"Hey, I'm Lisa. Nice to meet you." Lisa stretched her hands out for a handshake and a smile on her lips.

"Blaire," she replied.

Hmm "Blaire" that's true I didn't even know her name and I didn't even care to ask either, but now I know.

I held Lisa's hand and made sure she saw it. I didn't want her to get the wrong idea about us since I brought her to my place.

While eating, I watched her she ate very fast and didn't mind that we were present. It made me curious about who she was and her story but it doesn't really matter.

I have to carry out my plans with Lisa to take her out. I knew she wouldn't be a problem because she was very weak I sensed it the night I abducted her I felt her energy and there was almost nothing.

After breakfast, I was on my way out of the office I saw her wandering the hallways she looked lost. I just couldn't ignore her and I also had to inform her about her training, I already told Maxwell, Matt's younger brother to take charge and train her.

"I hope you don't think being a Luna is all about eating and sleeping, you have responsibilities too." that didn't come out well but I already said it.

I could tell that she wasn't happy about it either.

"Yes, you also get to train Our pack doesn't need a weak Luna."

She nodded and was about to walk away but then she turned back.

"Wait. Does that mean you've decided to keep me as your mate?"

I was so pissed by the question, I was probably being too lenient with her.

" You are too weak to be my mate I am only keeping you here for an heir. I am very sure you can't even fight or defend yourself not to mention the pack. You have to fight for your position as the Luna."

From the look on her face, you could tell she was hurt and struggling to find words to defend herself, tears welled up in her eyes and she hurriedly left with her head bent.

I almost felt bad not because of what I said but because of her reaction. I didn't think it was harsh at all because it was the truth even if she couldn't handle it.

She doesn't stand a chance against Lisa which means Lisa will be my mate automatically.
