Chapter 12

7pm

Luca was about to go home in Muriel's House but a heavy rain stopped him for doing so. He stopped by in a cake shop and bought a chocolate cake as a peace offering when suddenly he heared Muriel's voice

"He...Helpp!!"

He remembered Muriel's voice back when he saved her the first time. So, he is a 100% sure that it was Muriel.

He then run away so fast that no one could see him. The cake turned into dust due to his speed. And when he saw where Muriel is, he suddenly witnesses how the criminals slapped Muriel's face. He felt rage and as he run towards the criminals, he returned the slap so hard that all of the criminals died in a blink of an eye.

There is no single flesh left but only their bloods that slowly fading because of the heavy rain. He then held Muriel and carried her all the way home.

He put Muriel in her room and told Emy and Jay that she is sick. He forbids them in entering Muriel's room. He stayed beside Muriel and took care of her without sleep.

[Muriel's Room]

Muriel was asleep for almost 4 days due to over fatigue and over use of her magic powers. As soon as she gains consciousness she saw the ceiling of her room.

"W..Why am I here?"

She was still confused of what's happening, all she knows is that her body hurts like hell. She kept on staring the ceiling of her room and she suddenly remembered luca's face full of blood.

"LUCA! "

She immediately got up even though she's still so weak. She slowly walks towards the door but the door suddenly opened and Emy saw her

"Where are you going Sister Muriel??! You're not yet okay! Just lay down!"

"B..But... Lucaaa! Where is he?? I need to—a..apologize to him"

"Just stop it... And take care of yourself first! You can't even walk properly!"

"NOO!! I NEED TO SEE LUCA!!"

She pushed Emy and forced her way out of the room. She kept on shouting Luca's name and looked for him around the house.

"Luca! Where are you!?"

Jay saw Muriel looking for Luca and immediately stopped her.

"Hey there Muriel... Calm down... everything's fine okay?"

"Have you seen Luca? Where is he?"

"He's not here. Just calm down and rest! You're still sick."

"NO!! I need to find Luca!"

She suddenly burst and run towards the entrance of the house and as soon as she opened the door she felt so weak and almost collapse. Jay run and was about to catch her but the door suddenly opened and someone suddenly held Muriel's hand and catch her from falling.

"Are you really that dumb?"

When Muriel heard the voice, she saw Luca who bought a lot of fruits.

"I..I'm not that dumb..."

"Then why are you panicking?"

Muriel suddenly burst in tears and said

"I..I'M SORRYYYYY"

"Hey! Calm down Mui!"

"I'M SO STUPID LUCA! I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY "

"Fine... Fine... Just stop crying already!"

"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME AGAIN LUCAAAAA.... IT SUPER DUPER HURTS MORE THAN THESE WOUNDS I GOT" *Sob *Sob

"I WAS WRONG! I'M DEEPLY WRONG! I don't know that criminals are like that and yet I thought being pervert is a criminal act so I though kicking you out of the house might be for good in both me and Emy"

Jay laughed in the sideline because Muriel looked like a child who lost her toy

" I was wrong because I listened to Prince Nathan without weighing things on my own first."

"And I---"

Muriel suddenly stopped talking because Luca carried her like a princess and said

"Just shut up and take a rest already."

"B...But I'm not done explaini---"

"Enough okay? I already forgive you so just rest up."

Luca then carried Muriel all the way to her room while Muriel only hugged Luca so tight. When Luca was about to put Muriel on her bed, she suddenly doesn't want to let luca go.

"You can let go now Mui."

"No.. I don't want to!"

She suddenly hugged luca so tightly.

"Agg..I can't breathe Mui"

"Ah.. Sorry... Ju...Just stay with me please? U..Until I fell asleep? "

Luca thought that maybe she was traumatized in what those criminals did to her so he agreed and laid down beside Muriel then gave her an arm pillow.

Muriel immediately hugged Luca tightly and smells him like crazy. Luca saw how childish she is and then jokingly said.

"You really miss me that much huh?"

Muriel immediately stopped and blushingly said

"Y..yeah.. I miss you so much."

Luca was taken aback because it was just a joke but he received an unexpected answer.

"A..Are you still badly sick Mui?"

"N..No I'm not! I'm just a little bit dizzy"

"G..Great then."

"B.. But...I really mean it Luca! I ... I miss you so much and I don't understand why."

Muriel then hides her face in Luca's chest and said

"Its just that.... I feel really safe around you... like honestly."

She suddenly remembered her curiousness if Luca has a great abs. So, she slowly touches Luca's belly without him noticing.

***Sht! He really does have it! OMG****

"Aren't you afraid of me?"

"Wha..What?? Why would I?"

"Because I killed them Mui."

Muriel remembered those criminals and seriously said

"You're just protecting me so why would I be afraid of you?"

"Well... I thought you're smelling me to check if I still smell blood. You're even touching me as if you're checking some stains of blood.."

***Sh*t! I'm just checking if you have abs you idiot!****

Muriel then spank Luca's chest and said

"Ouch! What was that for?"

"It's for being an idiot!"

Muriel suddenly felt so sleepy and sleep talk

"You know what Luca..."

"What?"

"I search for you everywhere"

Luca wasn't surprised because he already knew that's why he kept on avoiding her and all those search soldiers that helped Muriel.

"I know Mui."

"You know?"

"Yeaah...'

"But...--- you don't know how jealous I am...--- when that princess kissed you."

Luca was surprise. He didn't know that Muriel is already sleep talking so he just replied casually.

"Why would you be jealous?"

Luca notice that she didn't replied again.

"Mui?"

He then noticed that Muriel has fallen asleep.

***Is what she said for real??? Like really??? Jealous???****

He didn't got up and left but instead, he stared at Muriel like crazy.

***Why am I so affected on whatever you do??***

***I could just leave you forever but I don't have the courage to do so. ***

***Deep inside of me, I still want to know whether you will look for me or even miss me***

***But now, you're saying you're jealous? ****

***Do you perhaps felt the same way as I do? ****

A lot of thoughts popped up in his mind that he didn't even realize that he has fallen asleep too.
