AT THE AUCTION IN CRANE STATE

It was a big hall filled with decorated round tables, they were not overly or a little decorated. All attendees were affluent. Their wore different designers wears.

Aiden, camilla and gun sat close to each other. Aiden wore a wine long sleeve shirt and black trouser, gun wore a black suit and Camila wire a v neck black gown. Each had their hair well styled.

Gun is like a son to camila, she found him in the streets when he was 13 and currently he is 30.

"The starting bid is $4 million" , the auctioneer said enthusiastically.

"$5 million" , a woman spoke out.

"$6.5 million!", a man yelled.

"$10 million!", Another voice yelled out.

I watched as people called out their offers.

I smirked to myself and glanced at camila and gun. I know fully well that camilla won't start calling her's now.

She's waiting for the golden time.

I glanced at riele, rico's mum and also glanced at rico who is also waiting for the golden time. Riele versus camila.

I crossed my leg and grab my glass and drank a little wine from it.

Riele,is the president second wife,her and camila's are always at each other necks when it comes to showing of their wealth.

The last auction, camilla bought a diamond earrings costing $45 million and riele stopped at $44 million.

Well this time I won't let it happen, I have something rolled up my sleeves anyway.

I knew she planned it, she waited for camila to go higher.

"$80 million dollars!",riele yelled as she glared at camila.

People gasped,

I think the woman behind me has indigestion.

"$95 Million" ,camilla yelled.

The woman behind me is rushed outside,people laughed,I joined them too,of course is funny.I refill my glass and dropes the bottle.

The auctioneer cleans his eyes and his glasses and clears his throat,"going first...going second and..."

"$100 million",riele spoke out.

I smirk and exhale as I take a drink from my glass.

The place turns dead silent,I look at some people expressions,they looked like they'll die from shock soon.

I glanced back at the auctioneer, someone needs to hold the auctioneer or he might pass out.

I glanced at camila,and we smile to each other. I look at gun who look over serious.

The auctioneer is dumbfounded but finally finds his voice,"going first...going second" . He raise his hands up "going ..."

I looked at riele,shes wide eyed and I saw fear in her eyes,I chuckled lightly.

She looks at camila,camila why aren't you saying anything.

Camila turny her and gave a sly grin.

She turned back to me and we chuckled silently.

"And gone!" ,the auctioneer hits the podium.

I looked at riele,who look shocked ,her face reads "nooooooo!" ,and when the hammer hits the table,she looks like a girl who saw her boyfriend cheating on her and rico was her comforting best friend.

"Mum!" ,rico called out,she almost fainted.

Camila took a deep breath and stood up gracefully followed by I and gun.

We walked behind camila as she meets riele,she took a deep breath,glanced at her and looks forward,"I can only imagine the cries if the citizens when they hear that the president second wife spent $100 million on a diamond necklace"."Or should I announce it,after all my son owns a media house".

She laughs,"the one your late husband transfered to him,he never appeared anywhere near your family,I didn't know he'll still remember he has a son"." I heard you were divorced before theo was born,so pathetic".

Camila demeanor changed," Do you know that blade you call a tongue can kill you". "Dont talk to much riele, your husband can lose that position anytime." Is not like he put himself there".

She turns to I and gun,"Aiden ,gun let's go,I think we're done here".

We walk out as body guards escort with us by our sides.
