Chapter 9 - Hera’s Lesson

Zeus POV

I flashed back to Olympus as mother sees I'm alone.

Rhea: Did you find him?

Zeus: Yes, he's alive but the injury to his left on his leg left some damage.

Rhea: My poor grandson.

Zeus: He said he was happy where he is and I'm not forcing him back but I did tell him his mother needed a lesson in humility.

Rhea: Oh no.

I smiled at her as the day came as Hephaestus completed the throne as he carried it up to Olympus for a gift to Hera.

As the Olympians watch this, I was giggling while Rhea and Métis shook there heads of what prank this is.

Hera was delighted by the gift as sat down but as soon as she sat down, enchanted chains appeared to shackle Hera to the throne.

Zeus: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! That's a good one, I love my son.

Hera: Zeus!? Free me this instant!!

Zeus: Sorry Hera but Hephaestus is the only one who can free you and the way you treated him, he's unlikely to do that.

Hera: Make him do it!

Zeus: No, this punishment fits the wrongs done to him by you, so either you apologize to him or stay that way for eternity.

Hera: You must joking? Me apologize to that thing, I think not!?

Zeus: Well enjoy your gift than.

I hopped off my throne as I laughed.

As time passed Hera finally apologized to Hephaestus as then Hera was freed but then of course trouble happens.

Ares: You dare chain my mother you freak!?

Hephaestus: It was to teach her a lesson you spoiled brat!?

Ares: I slice you apart!?

As Ares was about to attack Hephaestus

I appeared to catch his sword with my fingers to throw him away.

Zeus: You will do no such thing Ares, my foolish son.

Ares got up to glare at me.

Ares: You would protect this freak!

Zeus: Yes as you are my son, he is my first born.

Ares: He's not worthy of being a God!?

Zeus: I can say the same if you, should I remind you who rules Olympus?

As the atmosphere was intense with lightning flickering everywhere as Poseidon and Hades know someone pissed Zeus off.

Ares: N-No Mother.

Zeus: Good.

As then Hephaestus came to be on the Olympian council, since then Zeus had many children with other women, Hera watched as Zeus spawned others to be angry with her but Zeus warned Hera that she goes near, scheme, or do anything to the mother of her children as well as them she will been thrown into Tartarus with the Titans.

Hera had no choice but to watch as Zeus had his eyes on her.
