I looked at both bathrooms when I got back there. Testing the doors to see if they were still intact. The men's bathroom didn't open, and the woman's bathroom simply didn't have a door. I continued past the bathroom, and found a small breakroom as well as an office. The office was trashed, but the door looked intact.
The desk jammed in the doorway made me turn towards the break room instead. I wasn't in a hurry to move a heavy desk with my one good arm. The one that was shaking from exhaustion. The door to the break room was also intact. There was a table tossed into the back of the room, and a bunch of random chairs thrown around.
They were cheap folding chairs, but I didn't really care. Cheap meant they weren't very heavy. The table was obviously fairly heavy from the look of it, but I wasn't planning on moving the table. I kicked aside the papers, and personal belongings that were scattered around the small space. Stepping into the room, and closing the door behind me.
My bundle of stuff was thrown into a corner away from me. I jammed as many papers into the crack underneath the door as I could while using one hand. Then I emptied the two spray cans into the air around me. Taking a chair, and jamming it into the door best I could. It opened inward so there wasn't much else I could do.
I sat down on the floor, and started feeling around the broken bone. Wincing each time I pressed. My hand was still working, but it hurt to use it. I lifted my hand painfully, and gripped the leg of the heavy table. Holding my hand in place best I could before I started pulling my body away from the table leg.
I swore I could feel the ends of my broken bone grinding on each other, but I refused to let go. I clenched my teeth tightly. I had my good hand in place right over the break. I was just waiting for the two ends to line up. Pain made me break into a cold sweat.
I gripped my broken bone as tight as I could as soon as it lined up. It popped audibly. Black spots flashed in my vision, and I flopped over on my less injured side. I'd pushed myself well past my limit, and barely skated out of it alive. I lay there with spots in my vision.
Weaving in, and out of consciousness for hours on end. It didn't feel like hours. It felt like mere moments. I giggled, and cried multiple times when I came to. I didn't remember most of it. After some time I just woke up, and all the pain was gone.
"Thank you seven O'clock healing," I mumbled.
I stood up slowly. My limbs slightly stiff from sleeping on the floor. I grabbed my new armor, and pulled it on. It was a dark green in color, and laced up the sides of the torso. I tightened it around my torso.
Making sure it was snug. Then I moved on to the leg, and arm guards. There was a set for my upper arms, forearms, thighs, and calves. Once I had every piece of the set on it snugged up to my body, and a synergy effect was granted.
Basic female armor of the Goblin Knight
This armor is crafted from the skin of a goblin knight. When all pieces are equipped the bearer is granted the durability of a goblin knight. It may be poorly crafted, but it is still proof that a high class goblin was killed, and to wear the skin of a high class monster is to instill respect in your enemies.
+10 elemental resistance
+10 pierce resistance
+10 blunt attack resistance
+5 vitality
+5 bloodlust
+10 fear affect when facing goblin opponents
The part I was interested in was the bonus five points in vitality. If the armor granted such a big boost in vitality did that mean the goblin knight had high vitality? I was really glad I didn't allow him to heal too much while I was wallowing in pain. I stepped out of the employee breakroom, and looked around the trashed store. The armor was pretty tight, and looked slightly out of place over my baggy pants.
My upper body only had a bra, and armor on. It was warm enough that I hardly noticed. I also wasn't anywhere near any people so I didn't need to feel exposed like I would normally. I walked through the store calmly. Heading for the loading dock where the dungeon was.
I wanted to go in that dungeon. The strength would benefit me. I knew my perspective was a little skewed. I just didn't care. There could be hell in that dungeon for all I cared.
I was tired of being the weak weepy girl I'd always been. I was going to embrace my dark side fully. I needed it to survive this world. I needed this dark side of mine to survive. I had always embraced my kind side.
Trying to be nice in my own awkward way. I'd always tried to be nice. I wasn't going to be nice anymore. Not without being given a reason. I knew I was just thinking in circles because I was afraid to enter the dungeon.
There was no point in putting this off any further. I touched the dungeon door, and was given a prompt notification.
Would you like to enter the dungeon?
-Yes- -No-
Yes. I was pulled into the dungeon. It was a falling sensation followed by me being in the middle of a large cavern. There were little lights along the walls. Little crystals embedded into the walls giving the impression of a starry night.
It was actually surprisingly beautiful. I started walking. I didn't have any weapons except for my fire. I looked around the cavern, and started walking towards the opening at the end. I didn't hear or see anything.
