It is a place on the outskirts of New York City, surrounded by greenery, in a perfect area for those seeking discretion, whether for camping or for founding a school for mutants.
In this place stands the famous X-Mansion, founded by Charles Xavier with the hope of providing mutants who had suffered rejection from society a place to grow and learn like normal young people or, if they so chose, become a new generation of heroes.
The sound of pencils and pages turning. Intense and focused gazes mixed with an atmosphere of nervousness. This was the state of most students in the X-Mansion as they took their exams.
Allen had spent the past week coming to the X-Mansion to teach. Everyone was surprised to see him, and at first, there was a tense atmosphere, with students like Scott (Cyclops) and Bobby (Iceman) eyeing him suspiciously in class. Of course, some never doubted Allen, with Rogue, Cate, and Jean leading the list, followed by Kitty Pryde and Peter (Colossus). The rest of the students and teachers stayed neutral, not showing their opinions.
...
Dressed in formal yet discreet clothing suitable for a teacher, with a brown vest and tie as his main characteristic, Allen stood leaning on the desk in the classroom, watching his students.
"Heh..."
Allen laughed as he saw his students attempting to cheat. In a way, their exam turned into the Chunin Exam from Naruto.
On purpose, he had placed the answers to the exam in a drawer on his desk while the students watched. This was to see if any of them would dare to steal the answers, and sure enough, it happened not just once.
First, Angel and Bobby; neither of them had the brightest minds, but they had something that normal students didn't: powers. Last night, Angel infiltrated the classroom through the window using his ability to fly and stole the exam answers. He then shared them with Bobby, his accomplice, who had been notifying him via radio whenever Logan did his nightly security rounds.
It was a perfect plan, but they forgot that Allen Walker was their teacher.
Bobby was copying the answers, while Angel looked nervous and afraid. It was strange, considering he was the first one to steal the answers.
Angel thought his memory was good enough and memorized the answers. However, when he sat down to solve the exam, he realized he had forgotten everything. Allen raised his thumb at Nokotan and Bocchi, who were invisible to everyone except Allen. Nokotan smiled smugly, and Bocchi blushed while laughing creepily.
Nokotan: "These humans don't know the power a deer of my caliber can wield, haha."
Bocchi: "Hehe, I was praised~"
She and Bocchi used the Neuralyzer to erase Angel's memory. With Bobby, they didn't need to do anything. Allen looked at the boy with pity as he glued the answers onto small pieces of paper and stuck them under the desk. It wasn't a bad plan, but he forgot that ice is water. After some time, it started to melt and dampen the paper pieces. Bobby paled, but he managed to play it off well, using an alternative method of guessing the answers without realizing Angel was copying him.
Rebecca: "What a pair of idiots! Haha."
Harley: "Hahahaha."
Allen diverted his attention to Scott Summers, who was wearing his iconic red glasses. Taking advantage of the fact that his glasses were reflective on one side, inside one of the lenses of his glasses, he had a small notebook; he slyly cleaned his glasses and checked the answers.
[I didn't know there were such small notebooks...]
'Yeah...'
The fool forgot that Allen had fixed his ability, and he no longer needed glasses, so it was obvious he was cheating. Allen gave the Wednesday a look; she pulled out her wand and changed Scott's notebook to say, "I'm a fool."
"Ahh!"
Scott screamed, catching everyone's attention, causing Allen to raise an eyebrow.
"I'm sorry," Scott said, sitting down with a pale face. In his attempt to impress Jean, he ended up trying to secure first place by cheating. But it didn't end there. Alex, Scott's brother, was also cheating. He had written summaries of the main topics they saw for the exams on his arms and hid them under a thick wool sweater.
Allen looked out the window, and the sun was shining. The sunlight was directly hitting Alex, who was sweating.
"Aren't you hot in that sweater?" Allen mocked.
"I'm fine..." Alex said with difficulty.
Allen's eyes gleamed as he used his "temperature control" ability, also obtained in "The Boys," to raise the temperature inside the sweater to 40°C (104°F). Alex was sweating so much that it started dripping onto the floor, but he was as stubborn as a honey badger and refused to take off his sweater and reveal that he had cheated.
"I see; good luck to you, Alex..." Allen shook his head and, this time, looked at a girl.
Kitty also stole the answers, but for her, it was easy because she could become intangible. She smiled happily as she was solving her exam.
"Excuse me," Peter (Colossus) interrupted kindly, and Kitty looked at him confused. "Do you know the answer to number five?"
"Oh, of course, it's (C)!."
Allen slapped his forehead. 'Peter… Kitty…'
Makima: "I don't know what is more ridiculous, the guy who blatantly asks for the answers in the middle of the exam..."
Esdeath: "Or that she answered him..."
Artoria: "The worst part is that neither of them lowered their voice..."
Albedo: "No, the worst part is that several people who heard them changed their answers."
Allen tried not to look at his students, who seemed so pitiful. 'I mean, if you're going to cheat, at least do it well...'
[Don't worry, I'm sure your girls won't disappoint you...]
Allen looked at Jean, Cate, and Rogue. The three of them were seated next to each other. One thing to note is that all three girls had greatly improved their use of their abilities. Cate could now exert a form of influence on others that wasn't as aggressive as her mind control ability. She used this on Jean to get her to pass her the answers.
Rogue also improved her abilities, aided by a bracelet that Allen had created for her using fragments. This reduced her power to 20%, which allowed her to steal a little of another person's abilities, without hurting them, of course.
Rogue used this to steal part of Jean's telepathy, which allowed her to hear the redhead's thoughts. However, the redhead did the same with Rogue.
'The answer to number seven... is D?' thought Rogue, but she wanted to confirm by reading Jean's mind.
'The answer is D,' Jean heard Rogue's thoughts, which seemed like an affirmation to Rogue, and she then gestured to Cate to indicate the correct answer.
In this way, whenever Rogue doubted an answer and wanted to confirm it with Jean, Jean would get confused, thinking it was the right answer, and copy it exactly to then pass it to Cate.
"This is not true..."
[Allen those girls... never mind].
One of Allen's eyebrows twitched. His students weren't just cheaters; they were stupid.
Timcampy emerged from Allen's pocket and perched on his head to comfort him. Allen was thankful he hadn't done a live stream during the exam, or he felt people would question his teaching ability.
Allen swore in his heart that these boys and girls would be severely punished. All the students in the class trembled in fear, except Kitty and Colossus, who were confident they had passed with honors.
The exam ended after half an hour of agony for the students and for Allen, who had to watch them. The exam today would go down in history as the only exam in the X-Mansion where all the students failed.
...
Allen had to leave for another world soon, so he decided to stay at least one night in the X Mansion, where he had his personal room, which, unfortunately, he had never used.
After the day ended, Allen had dinner with Wolverine and Beast. There was a certain distance in Beast's manner, though he tried to remain courteous.
"Professor Walker... I just hope you consider the world and direct your actions to keep the consequences to a minimum."
Allen smiled, leaning on the table. "Alright..." Though he accepted the words, the narrowed gaze of his wine-colored eyes made Beast uncomfortable.
Wolverine was a simpler type, burping as he pointed at Allen.
"Kid, are you evil?"
"No..."
Wolverine nodded, stood up from the table, grabbed another beer, and walked off as if the matter was settled. Allen shrugged, thinking that Logan was actually a more pleasant guy than he seemed.
...
"Oh..."
Once in his room, Allen looked around at the wooden floor, white walls, a bed, a desk, a minibar, and a personal bathroom. Charles gave him a large room near Rogue, Cate, and Jean's rooms.
The mansion was huge, with several underground floors where vehicles would eventually be housed, a training wing, a lab, and the famous "Cerebro," which was still under construction. Charles was a man who showed goodwill toward Allen, but he wouldn't reveal all his secrets. Allen only knew about all of this thanks to a scan done by the Mansion-X system.
Allen shook his head and lay down on the bed. This place now had the eyes of the world on it; it was the only place where people could know when Allen was present. Yet, strangely, not a single reporter had shown up at the door of the X Mansion all week.
Makima – "I'm surprised no one attacked you while you were here... Not only that but after what happened with that Morlun guy, it doesn't seem like anyone is talking about it..."
Esdeath – "It doesn't seem like a wise decision to attack Allen in a place full of mutants. No, it's just not a good idea to attack him after seeing him angry... and knowing what he's capable of."
2B "It was inevitable... Master, if you want, you can conquer this world. I'm sure humanity would be better under your guidance..."
Rebecca "They're all cowards! When Allen was strong, they all criticized him, but now that he's become TOO STRONG, not even the news outlets criticize him openly!"
Albedo "Allen-sama showed his power, and with that, he managed to eliminate any thoughts of rebellion in this world~ Ah~ I expected nothing less from you~ You could take the title of Absolute King at any time🖤"
Artoria "Don't get too confident. In this world, and in any world, there are always those who won't be afraid and won't hesitate to bite you..."
Harley "Daddy, in Gotham, there's plenty of that. No matter the consequences, they'll aim for the head~"
Bocchi "No... I thought we'd have a quiet week... this is definitely my fault... yesterday I had an ice cream that had a free ice cream prize... a worthless being like me can't have any luck... this is my fault..."
Nokotan "Bocchi-chan turned into an amoeba!... Well, if it comes to that, you can leave everything in the hands of the Goddess of the Deer!"
"Sometimes, I can't tell if they're serious or just joking. Haha."
While Allen was chatting with the dolls, the footsteps of a girl approached down the hallway. The girls frowned and disappeared. Allen stood up and walked to the door to open it.
A red-haired girl threw herself onto Allen. He didn't try to avoid her, recognizing her immediately. It was Jean Grey, who had used the nickname Ruby in her chat for quite some time. She clung to Allen with her arms.
"I know it's wrong, but now, no one is going to get in the way of our love?❤️~"
Allen was stunned, as were the dolls. In the past, Allen hadn't developed his relationship with Jean to this point.
"Jean?"
He lifted the girl's face, only to see her with a flushed face and drowsy eyes. She clumsily seemed unaware of her actions.
"You know, I've always thought you were cute~ although your new look isn't bad either, hehe~"
"Jean, have you been drinking?"
"No, no, no, we were just having a sleepover and... I... forgot."
Allen rubbed the bridge of his nose. The girl was drunk, and she probably wasn't the only one. He picked her up and carried her to the bed. As he adjusted her, she laughed, her face turning even redder.
"Be nice to me~"
Allen blinked and felt like joking a little. He gently caressed Jean's cheek and brought his face closer. The girl seemed to snap back to reality, panicking as she didn't know what to do or how she had ended up there. Just before kissing her, Allen changed his target and kissed her on the forehead.
"...a."
"Keep tempting me, and I'll really eat you up."
Allen's smile, filled with mischief and charm, made Jean bury her face in the sheets.
Jean was stunned as she looked at Allen. Memories of how Kitty had brought drinks to the sleepover, taking them from the kitchen without knowing they were alcoholic, came flooding back. She wasn't good with these things, so it only took one big gulp for her to stagger into this room, saying she would confess to Allen that night or stop calling herself Jean Grey.
Jean remembered her own words and pulled her head up. "Allen... before you leave, can I tell you something?"
Allen sat on the bed, smiling gently. "What do you need?"
Jean felt her face burning as she gathered her courage.
"For years, I've been following every step you've taken. I've seen so many things about you, and I've told you so much about me, but there's still this barrier between us..."
Allen caressed Jean's head, and she became more shy. Then, she grabbed Allen's hand while trembling.
"I've always... always wanted to tell you that you mean so much to me, that because of you, I wasn't afraid of my abilities, that you've helped me so many times, and for all of that, thank you!"
Jean finished her words with tears in her eyes.
Allen hugged Jean. He knew that Jean had awakened her mutant powers a long time ago and that many families had been destroyed because of it. No matter where, some parents couldn't bear having a mutant child, which caused rejection and abandonment. This was due to various factors, including that mutant children would awaken their powers and accidentally take lives with them.
"Your words make me really happy..." Allen smiled broadly. "They truly made me happy, Haha."
"Hehe~" Jean smiled with tears in her eyes.
"Come on, don't cry. I'll tell you something: ask for anything, and I'll give it to you."
Jean was stunned for a moment. Her body began to tremble. A smile appeared on her face as she bit her lip. The girl radiated a pink aura. Seeing this, Allen regretted his words, fearing she might make a dangerous request.
"A kiss..."
"Jean, wait."
"I want a real kiss," Jean's eyes showed determination and seriousness. "I want a real kiss, not one on the forehead or the cheek."
Jean's eyes made it clear she wouldn't back down from this request. Allen rubbed the bridge of his nose while smiling wryly. His eyes locked on Jean's, and without fear, he leaned in and kissed her, leaving Jean frozen for a moment.
She hadn't expected him to do it...
Allen pulled away and smiled. "Jean, right now, I'm not such a nice guy. Don't say things like that or I—"
Before he could finish, Jean jumped on him, kissing him as she pushed him onto the bed. She inserted her tongue without hesitation, seemingly losing control and letting her instincts take over her body.
"Hnn... Al.... amu.... love you... I... love you!"
Jean hugged Allen tightly as she climbed on top of him, her gaze was one filled with obsession and desire as she released what she always wanted. Allen not only didn't push her away but grabbed her waist possessively and kissed her back.
The strong, experienced tongue showed Jean her place; she, who had been aggressive, soon submitted that it was impossible to win, but this was also okay.
[Allen you're going to be arrested...]
'Didn't you see she attacked me, I'm innocent...'
Allen got on top of Jean while the girl wrapped her legs around his waist.

A/N: Sorry, I am dragging out the arrival of the next arc because I have to think about the structure of the arc and how to integrate it with the story as a whole. Someone said that writing is 1% inspiration and 99% effort and from experience I tell you that's true 🍷🗿
