483 Invincible: Traumatizing a Supervillain, The Wrath of Machine Head, Saving a Boy from a Bully and A Date with Atom Eve.

(A/N: As I said before, this chapter aims to be absurd, so don't worry too much about it.)

The news was surreal, a bizarre chase was happening in the middle of Chicago.

Isotope's current escape convoy was designed by Machine Head as a countermeasure to the possibility that Isotope would be unable to teleport him out of a dangerous situation, though it had never been used until now.

This convoy escort includes a main armored vehicle capable of withstanding missile impacts effortlessly. Three black armored trucks, the front one modified with a reinforced bumper in the shape of a lance to push any vehicle out of the way, while the two behind are equipped with turrets integrated with alien technology. Additionally, there is aerial support with two combat helicopters. With this, they ensured the escape would be noticeable but inevitable in the worst-case scenario.

However, it was never designed for this absurd situation...

His footsteps were so heavy that they shook the ground; his speed made the windows rattle as he passed. His body pushed the air as if it were a massive object in motion. It was like watching a battleship take human form and chase after you. Yet, that wasn't even close to how dangerous he truly could be. This young, good-looking officer seemed like the embodiment of desperation because no matter what they did, they couldn't stop him...

Desperation... pure desperation, that was all Isotope felt at that moment, ironically... Allen only wanted to help him.

'What is that thing?! A machine?! It makes sense, but why is it so resistant?! We're using turrets and anti-armor ammunition enhanced with alien technology, but it does nothing!! Is his resistance on the level of Omni-Man?!'

*Propellers*

"Ahhhh! Huh?!"

The sounds of the helicopters pulled Isotope out of his hysteria as he screamed in tears. They were two futuristic combat helicopters, not of terrestrial origin but of alien origin, something Machine Head had acquired thanks to his contacts. In the original story, Machine Head even managed to hire Battle Beast, someone capable of facing Viltrumites and almost killing Invincible. So, one cannot underestimate the purchasing power Machine Head has.

The whirring of the helicopter engines, growing closer, was a ray of hope for Isotope, who had already wet his pants from fear. Of course, no one could blame him. Allen was acting terrifyingly; plus, add to that the fact that he was letting his thirst for blood show due to his discomfort and disgust for the vile kidnappers.

Isotope peered out to see how his helicopters lined up to fire at Allen. This time, they didn't use explosives or bullets but fired energy weapons. Each shot seemed to come straight out of a futuristic movie.

It was absurd that ordinary people got excited about astronauts on Mars when repeated invasions left behind several weapons that shouldn't even exist in this era, but it's the reality. On the black market, you could even find Flaxan rifles, the most recent visitors.

...

The sky filled with danger as Allen watched the two metal falcons open compartments on their wings and aim at him.

"FIRE!"

The energy flashes struck with a peculiar sound, different from regular bullets. Upon hitting the ground, they melted the concrete; when they struck a vehicle, they passed through it as though it were butter. These alien weapons treated human structures like a joke.

Allen frowned, recognizing that these were the same weapons used by the Flaxan tanks. It seemed someone had collected them and sold them to some very bad people...

...

Maria Hill – After the Chitauri invasion on Earth, SHIELD did everything it could to recover weapons, bodies, and anything related to that alien race, but it was impossible.

Natasha – It's true that there were even people who auctioned off Chitauri armor online.

Barbara – The same happened with the Parademons that invaded with Steppenwolf.

Raven – People were auctioning Parademon bodies... we had a lot of problems with that. There was even a risk of a pandemic because those aliens carried micro bacteria that don't exist on Earth...

Rick – The harsh reality, is everyone worries about killing aliens, but no one about cleaning up their bodies *burp*

...

The deadly shots that seemed terrifying hit Allen, leaving no scratch.

"NOOOO!"

Isotope fell into despair as his last hope was extinguished. It seemed like he had lost his soul.

Allen, seeing and feeling Isotope's state, decided to stop holding back, and though his balls would pay the price, he sped up. In an instant, he dashed between the rear trucks, sending them flying, and reached the armored Rolls Royce.

Allen ripped off the rear door as if it were paper and grabbed Isotope by the neck, who wet his pants again and "saved" him.

Allen stopped and lifted his "prey" by the neck, like a victorious predator. I mean, he rescued the citizen from the psychopathic kidnappers and gently lifted him by the neck to check for any injuries.

"Citizen... you're safe..."

Isotope turned pale and passed out. Allen sighed, "This poor soul is traumatized for life. Those monsters have no feelings or love. Don't worry, citizen, I will avenge you!"

Allen threw Isotope into a dumpster to keep him safe while the ambulances arrived. He was a being of justice, and staying too long in one place allowed more criminals to wreak havoc elsewhere, so he decided to leave, making it clear that no crime would go unpunished before the third arm of the law.

...

Machine Head lived up to his name. While his body resembled that of an average Caucasian man who usually wore white suits, his head was robotic.

Upon hearing what had happened, he froze. The situation was so surreal that even his quantum calculations couldn't predict it. What the hell had happened?! Now his right-hand man was in a psychiatric hospital receiving treatment for the trauma he had suffered. The worst part was that the police knew exactly who Isotope was, and they wouldn't let him go.

"Dammit!" Machine Head slammed the desk in front of him. Losing Isotope meant losing his life insurance, which ensured that even Omni-Man couldn't capture him. "Who the hell is that damned officer in tight pants?!"

"..."

In front of Machine Head in his office stood a muscular, shirtless Black man in a gray hoodie. He was the imposing Titan, the thug with the power to create a granite armor that faced Invincible the first time he became a superhero.

"What are you doing, Titan?! Go find that officer and kill him!"

Titan clenched his fists but said nothing and left the building. To Machine Head, he was just another tool. He never asked if Titan could beat him or if he even wanted to do it—he just ordered it. Titan chose to ignore Machine Head and go back home to his wife Vanessa and daughter Fiona.

"That bastard can go screw himself..."

Without realizing it, a red demon watched from the top of a building, keeping an eye on every step he took.

...

Allen finished his mission, but crime never rested, so he decided to take one last round through the city before finishing his duties as an officer. Maybe tomorrow, he will decide to be a judge or a health inspector; who knows? The possibilities of messing with others through his current work were endless.

Allen smiled at this... of course, the girls and the Chat interrogated him, wanting to know if he truly didn't recognize Isotope or if he did all of the above knowing that Isotope was Machine Head's right-hand man.

"Who knows..." Allen didn't want to answer that and just smiled mischievously.

2B – Master, we have a 10-38 (A bully in action) at three o'clock.

"10-4 (Understood)..."

Allen slowed down, his pants rubbing against the leather seat. However, his eyes didn't change from their seriousness. Being a being of justice requires sacrifice and dedication. His eyes, behind his sunglasses, turned toward the corner of the street.

Two boys were waiting for the bus to go to school, both joking around or rather, one joking while the other seemed uncomfortable. Allen immediately recognized the boy; it was Doug Cheston, the bully who used to bother Mark at school.

Allen held no grudge against Doug, but his dislike for bullies was well-known to everyone. So, he decided to help the boy and give Doug a small warning.

The blonde, stocky boy smiled arrogantly as he intimidated a thin kid.

"Come on Marty, doing my homework is fun, right?"

"Yeah... it is," Marty smiled nervously and awkwardly. Like any bully, once they lost their target, they'd look for another one. Since Mark Grayson no longer let himself be intimidated, Doug had found someone else, and that someone else was this smart but shy kid.

"Haha, good answer. That's why you're going to help me with this project too... right?"

There was an implicit threat. The world was cruel and unfair. While a kind, intelligent young man had to bow his head to avoid being intimidated, another guy, without an ounce of empathy, had life handed to him. Doug's father was the owner of Cheston Pharmaceuticals, so Doug wasn't just strong, he was rich. Yet, he chose to bully the weak.

Marty knew the exams were approaching, and he had to focus on his own future and keep his scholarship, but right now he had to sacrifice himself for someone who just didn't feel like doing his homework...

"Yeah."

The third arm of justice could not allow this. Allen got off his motorcycle and walked up to the two boys.

"Tsk..." Doug looked at this with disdain.

Allen spoke kindly to the two boys, "Son, I remind you that what you're doing isn't right..."

Doug frowned and looked at Allen with disgust, "Get lost, asshole! I'm a minor!"

Allen smiled and shook his head. It was true that the law was very lenient with minors.

Allen pulled out a tablet that Cecil had given him. It had access to almost all the mid-level government databases, leaving out state secrets. Allen took a picture of Doug and checked his information.

"Doug Cheston, you're right, son. At least for this month, then you'll be an adult... but it doesn't matter. For now, I'll accept the status quo and handle this with the tact and delicacy you deserve."

Doug sneered, how dare this salaried cop talk to him like that? Just one call from his father, and this cop would be begging on the streets.

...

"Hhhm!! Hhm!!"

Allen carried a bundle wrapped in a black body bag to a dumpster. The bundle suspiciously looked the size of a person, but no one in the chat commented on what had just happened.

"Sometimes, justice is hard, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make..." Allen's cheeky statement left everyone speechless.

A drunk man was sitting in the alley who looked at him terrified. Allen smiled kindly at him.

"Don't worry, citizen. I'm a law officer fulfilling my mission..."

"Mmm! Mmm!!"

The bundle on his shoulder writhed desperately, making a futile attempt to escape.

"..." The man turned pale.

Allen laughed and punched the mysterious bundle in the stomach, "It's just an animatronic from the pizzeria down the street. Nothing to worry about!"

...

Gwen – This is getting farther from being police work...

Barbara – I already gave up...

Starfire – Hm? But he's doing something good, right?

Raven – Looks like we need to review common sense, Starfire...

...

The man was so scared that he recovered from the hangover, "I didn't see anything, officer!"

Allen adjusted his sunglasses, "Harley, erase this good citizen's memory..."

"Yes!~" Harley appeared and swung her bat to hit the man.

Allen grabbed the bat and scolded her, "What are you doing? Use the Neuralyzer, Harley."

"Tsk... fine, Daddy~" Harley pulled a small memory-erasing device from her cleavage and put on glasses. The drunk man stared at it in astonishment. "Now, sir, look here!"

*Flash*

Allen opened the dumpster and threw Doug in... no, he threw the mysterious bundle, which definitely wasn't a person, into the dumpster.

"Listen, son, this experience will teach you two things. The first is not to be a bully, because there's always someone worse than you. The second... is not to insult a law officer wearing very uncomfortable tight pants!"

"Mmm!! Hhh!!" At this point, Doug realized the police officer wasn't joking and genuinely planned to leave him there, and he became terrified. However, his muffled screams through the tape on his mouth wouldn't be heard.

Makima – If they bother you that much, why don't you take them off...

"No, I can't skip the uniform..." Allen stubbornly replied, not wanting to admit it was a stupid idea to wear those pants.

Albedo appeared kneeling before Allen, "Don't worry, Allen-sama. I'll gladly and humbly give you a massage afterward to ease your pain."

Nokotan blinked innocently, "Nun, In his balls?"

The people in the chat who were drinking water spat it out.

Albedo took a deep breath, her cheeks flushed, then stood up and puffed out her chest, "Every part of Allen-sama is perfect and transcendent. There's nothing vulgar about it!"

Rebecca snorted, "I can smell the slutty vibe from here..."

"What did you say?!"

2B also appeared, bowing, "In that case, allow me to be the one to give you that massage, master. I'm the most suitable as your loyal servant."

Allen blinked in disbelief. How did this conversation go from being a cop on duty to a debate over who would give him a ball massage?

"We'll discuss this later."

Allen didn't respond to his perverted girls. He closed the dumpster and decided to leave. He'd release Doug in a few hours... unless he forgot.

This was another case solved by the mighty third arm of the law!

...

The Chat spent some time teasing Allen, who kept repeating that he felt uncomfortable in those pants, but he wasn't going to take them off until the end of the day, but Allen ignored them.

"You might think I'm just trolling, you assholes... but you know what? Today, I apprehended a group of kidnappers and saved a kid from bullying, and I don't see any thanks!"

Allen got annoyed because later, people would complain that he no longer helped others and had become too selfish, but they wouldn't acknowledge his efforts this time. He decided to ignore the chat and kept driving. However, there was one lingering doubt in his mind.

Unlike DC, where there could be countless universes where Allen could fall, in Invincible, there were two main storylines. One followed the events of the canon, which was the comic, and the other followed the animated series, which was also faithful to the canon but changed several things.

It was clear that this world was closer to the animated version. For starters, characters like Green Ghost and Shrink-Ray were women, which was exclusive to the animated version, so the chat used this series to compare events. However, as mentioned, it was a summarized version, so sometimes the story felt like it was rushed too much.

Allen thought about the start of the plot, so to speak. Mark and Eve were seventeen, and Allen checked it in the database. Amanda was twenty-four, but suddenly, halfway through the series, Monster Girl went from being twenty-five, and Eve was of legal age.

This suggested there had been a subtle time jump somewhere between the fourth and fifth episodes.

Allen thought that the time jump must've happened after Mark returned from Mars. There was a moment where he was shown fighting a lot of villains with no context, and at that point, his relationship with his father and girlfriend started to deteriorate. Debbie also began to suspect more about Nolan. Allen wanted to avoid the drama surrounding Mark's mom because there was no reason for it since Cecil already knew for sure that Nolan was the killer.

Allen no longer knew how the plot would move forward, but it didn't really matter. Some things were definitely going to happen, including Omni-Man revealing his true face to the world.

...

The next day, Allen had a "date" with Eve. Of course, he was just joking when he invited her out, but she seemed to take it very seriously, so they agreed to meet at the subway station near Eve's house.

Allen, being a gentleman as always, was dressed impeccably, elegantly, and attractively. He had left behind the surreal police officer from the previous day and now looked like a young adult who couldn't help but attract attention.

Eve, the beautiful redhead, stopped in her tracks to greet him and looked him up and down. She swallowed nervously and then looked at her dress, feeling like maybe she should have dressed up more. Like any girl her age, she started to feel insecure about her appearance in this situation.

At that moment, Allen approached her and took her hand. "Don't worry, you look beautiful..."

Eve's eyes widened, and her heart began to race. Allen was a rare man in this day and age, with the charm of a kind gentleman mixed with the electrifying feeling of a bad boy. His aura left her breathless at times and, at others, as warm as the spring sun.

"Thank you..." Eve smiled. Lately, her problems had been overwhelming her, but at this moment, she felt relaxed and at ease. They both walked side by side. Whether consciously or unconsciously, she grabbed Allen's arm intimately, and of course, he didn't embarrass her for it.
