"A walk to remember"

Amy has been promoting the movie in past few days. She attended many promotion dinners with the film crew. The box office of movie has now crossed over twenty five million dollars in North America market, not counting the overseas market. The film has made almost 6 times of its budget. As a result, not only Amy's popularity is soaring, she has also become a little rich woman.

"Look at these scripts. Check if something suits your taste." Richard handed a pile of scripts. After the first movie, Amy has started receiving quite a lot of offers now. Although they are not big budget movies, they are still the leading roles of many

rom-coms and coming-of-age movies. But they all are always rejected by Amy.

"I already told you Richard. I don't like any of these scripts."

"But some of them are good." Richard doesn't understand why Amy doesn't like any of them. Although they are not high class scripts, but they are still good for new comers. But if his client doesn't like them, then he won't force it. "Ok, if that's what you want. Then we will wait for better scripts to arrive."

Amy nodded and was grateful that Richard didn't force her to take scripts like other agents. Suddenly, her eyes caught the sight of some scripts which were further placed away. "What are those."

Richard looked where Amy was pointing and saw some scripts which he moved away at the beginning. "They are not important. They were not good enough, so I moved them away earlier."

"Can you show them to me?" asked Amy.

Richard nodded and handed her the scripts. Amy started looking at them. They were really written bad. She couldn't even read them now, there's no way she will play them. Suddenly, her eyes fell on a script at the bottom of the box. It was covered with dust. Amy removed the dust from the title, but when she read the name of the script, she was stunned.

The name of the movie was "A walk to remember", a seemingly ordinary name. But any person who has watched movies in the future must know this name. The master piece of coming-of-age genre, "A walk to remember". A cult classic movie whose popularity has not even faded twenty years later.

Richard saw that Amy was looking at a script for quite some time, he was curious so he moved his head to look at the script in Amy's hand. Seeing the name of movie, he seemed to remember something, he spoke, "I remember this. Its a project belonging to Warner Bros studios. Athough the storyline seems good but the heroine in movie needs to be able to sing a little. Although i don't know if you know singing, but I didn't want to waste your time. So I separated it earlier."

"I want to work in this movie. I have read its novel before. I want this." Amy immediately said with a firm tone. She doesn't want to miss such a masterpiece.

"Its okay with me. If that's what you want, I will further contact the studio." Richard agreed with Amy's choice. "But if you have read the novel, you should know that the heroine needs to able to sing."

"I can take classes and I also know singing a little."

Richard agreed and went to make the call to the Warner Bros studio. Amy was looking at the script in her hand. She has already acts in a commercial movie like "Legally Blonde", and she believes that it will be a huge success. If she gets this movie too, then it can be a huge boost to her popularity. Although "A walk to remember" only got a little better than passing line reviews from the critics, but no can deny its cult following among teenagers and huge box office.

Richard came after making a call and saw Amy lost in thought, he called Amy and spoke, "I have talked with the studio. There is a good news and a bad news which is not that bad."

"Tell the good news first and then bad news."

"They are happy with you acting in the movie and their attitude was also friendly. But the bad news is that they had already started looking for the female lead as we replied late." saying this much, he bacame quiet.

Amy signaled Richard to continue talking.

"They already have a candidate in sight now. But they have not agreed to other person yet. They want you to audition for the role. If your audition goes better, they will sign you."

"Its okay. I have no problem in auditioning. Just tell me when is the audition and arrange some singing classes for me." said Amy.

"They have called you for the audition next week. As for the singing courses, I will make arrangements."
