They didn't return home immediately. Instead, they went to several more shops, where Luke got some shoes, belts, bags, and gloves. Tim was measured for shoes and belts as well.

But this trip made him confused. "I thought you were preparing for your lecture," he said.

"I am," Luke replies. "Don't drop any of those boxes."

"It is important to look presentable to your students. If I appeared before them wearing my peasantry clothes then they wouldn't listen to me. But if I look like middle-class, close enough to first-class then I would be able to teach properly."

"I thought you wouldn't care about things like this about what people think," Tim said.

"I don't, my only enemy is myself. I enjoy showcasing my wealth whenever I have the opportunity. You saw the news of when I left prison didn't you?"
