Comedic twist

Isabella, adorned in her weekend-ready attire, was about to step out of the grand Bennett mansion when her mother, Margaret Bennett, intercepted her in the opulent hallway.

"Isabella, where do you think you're going?" Margaret questioned, her tone carrying a blend of authority and concern.

Isabella, slightly startled by the unexpected interruption, replied with an air of innocence, "Oh, I'm just heading to Mindy's place. We planned to hang out with Gloria and Emily, remember?"

Margaret's expression tightened, and her disapproval became evident. "Isabella, I've told you before. I don't want you associating with that girl. The Cullens have fallen on hard times, and you shouldn't be mixing with people of such low standing."

Isabella, her frustration simmering beneath the surface, retorted, "Mom, Mindy is my friend. Just because her family is going through a tough time doesn't mean I should abandon her. We've been friends for years."
