New home

The weekend dawned with a sense of both excitement and trepidation as Jacob and Grace prepared to move into Old Mrs. Sullivan's mansion. Boxes were stacked high with their belongings, a tangible symbol of the new chapter they were about to embark upon.

However, Grace couldn't shake the lingering doubt that gnawed at her heart. Despite Jacob's assurances, she couldn't shake the feeling that Old Mrs. Sullivan's sudden change of heart was too good to be true. As they loaded the final box into the moving van, she turned to Jacob, her expression a mix of apprehension and disbelief.

"I still can't believe your mother wants us to live here," she confessed, her voice laced with uncertainty.

Jacob took her hand in his, his eyes filled with warmth and understanding. "I know it's hard to believe, but she's sincere, Grace," he reassured her, his voice soft but resolute. "We have to give her a chance, for the sake of our family."
