I’m really enjoying this book so far! It’s not often that in chosen one stories the chosen one is a strong female lead!! I really like Layla, it’s kind of cool that although she is the chosen one she doesn’t let this make her seem rude or anything!! The writing is also really good and vivid! lol Claudine is so annoying though haha!! Hoping for a redemption arc later on!! Overall I’m really enjoying this and wait to see what happens next! I’d recommend this to everyone who likes fantasy stories with a female protagonist that is fast paced with lots of witty interactions!!!
