The System was not only a source of information and knowledge, but also a source of power that was within his soul. The System recorded everything that Orion read and saw, and stored it in it's database. The System also analyzed everything that Orion learned and experienced, and processed it in it's algorithm. The System then used this data to provide Orion with various functions and features that could help him grow stronger.
One of these functions was the Skill Learning function, which allowed Orion to learn any skill that he had read or seen in books or reality, as long as he met the requirements. The requirements were based on the level, type, difficulty, rarity, compatibility, and affinity of the skill. The higher the requirements, the higher the cost of learning the skill. The cost was paid in terms of experience points, which Orion could gain by completing quests or killing monsters.
Another function was the skill enhancement function, which allowed Orion to enhance any skill that he had learned or possessed, as long as he met the conditions. The conditions were based on the frequency, intensity, duration, quality, creativity, and feedback of using the skill. The higher the conditions, the higher the effect of enhancing the skill. The effect was measured in terms of proficiency points which Orion could accumulate by using the skilled repeatedly or innovatively.
A third function was the Skill Fusion function, which allowed Orion to fuse two or more skills that he had learned or enhanced, as long as he met the criteria. The criteria were based on the similarity, compatibility, synergy, balance, harmony, and innovation of the skills. The higher the criteria the higher the result of fusing the skills. The result was expressed in terms of fusion points, which Orion could obtain by fusing the skills successfully or creatively. These functions allowed Orion to learn, enhance, and fuse various skills that could help in his swordsmanship and magic. He could learn skills from books, such as basic sword techniques, elemental spells or historical facts. He could enhance the skills from reality, such as his own sword magic, his physical attributes or his social skills. He could fuse skills from both sources, such as combining sword techniques with elemental spells, enhancing his physical attributes with magic, or using historical facts to influence his social skills. He could also use these functions to create his own unique skills that no one else had or knew. He could use his imagination and creativity, and his knowledge and experience, to invent new skills that suited his style and personality. He could use his innovation and experimentation, and his feedback and evaluation, to improve his skills and make them more powerful and efficient. He could use these functions to customize his own class that no one else had or recognized. He could use his preference and choice, and his potential and talent, to select the best class for him.
