Chapter 5: Orion's First Quest

As Lily was waiting for a response from Orion he noticed that he had received a quest.

The quest was:

[Sub-objective 1: Learn the basic sword techniques from your family's sword instructor.]

[Sub-objective 2: Learn the basic elemental spells from your family's magic tutor.]

[Sub-objective 3: Learn the basic history of swordsmanship from your family's library.]

[Sub-objective 4: Learn the basic principles of sword magic from your own bloodline.]

[Reward: 1000 experience points; 10 skill points; 10 attribute points; 1 random item; 1 random skill; 1 random title; access to the second stage of the sword saint's path: Sword Mastery.]

[Failure Penalty: None.]

[Accept/Reject?]

Orion read the quest details carefully and felt a surge of excitement and anticipation. He thought this quest was perfect for him, as it matched his interests and goals, and it covered the basics of swordsmanship and magic, which were essential for his class. He also thought that the reward was generous and attractive, as it would help him improve his level, skills, attributes, items, and titles. He also wanted access to the next stage of the sword saint's path, which he assumed would be more challenging and rewarding. He did not hesitate to accept the quest.

He said in his mind:

The System confirmed his choice and said:

Orion felt a slight vibration in his head and saw a notification on his vision. He realized that he had a special ability that no one else had in this world. He could see levels, stats, skills, items, quests, and other information that were related to the system. He could also communicate with the system by using his mind. He thought this ability was very useful and convenient, but also very dangerous. He decided to keep this ability hidden from everyone else and only use it when necessary.

He looked at Lily and saw that she was unaware of his interaction with the System. She was still smiling at him and waiting for his response. He smiled back at her and said:

"Thank you for telling me all of this, Lily. You are very kind and helpful."
