Velios had a huge problem, he was so focused on making it as perfect as possible that he not only lost track of time, but also direction. This wouldn't really be anything huge since it never bothered him the other times he was out in the wilderness. But who knew when he was going to see a bear and especially one that huge. Last time he searched he just ran around, jumped from tree to tree and never had a direction in mind which could have been the root problem, but it was too late now. But since the bear's fur decomposes slower than the body in general, he still had a chance, but who knew how long it would take and it would certainly set him back even further without any sort of water and probably hours of intensive training wasted. This all meant that he would have to make up his mind on only one of them, but which would he choose?
He took out his frustration on the nearby trees, one after the other, resulting in a gruesome workout session of him spending less and less time with each tree, hitting them harder and harder every time. He noticed huge improvements to speed, strength, agility and much more, but at that moment he didn't care. The only thing he could think about was how cool he would look like wearing the fur of the giant bear he had killed. That image kept flashing in his head every time he punched or kicked the tree. But he also managed to learn something new that day. Some rage actually increases with time.
His body, yet again couldn't handle the stress he was causing it yet again, resulting in a scenario where his muscles basically just shut off enough so that he couldn't move without severe consequences. He finally took out his list of stats yet again and spent a very long time relatively just looking at them.
He didn't yet understand what the numbers truly meant and what they would equal, but he knew just how much of an improvement he had made in such a short period of time. It hadn't even reached the three day marker and he was already strong enough to face off with the local wildlife and cut down trees with his bare knuckles and shins even though it still took some time, he was getting more used to it. He also had seemed to make a rather shocking discovery. Eating and drinking in general seems to improve different stats for a short period of a time but also boost the healing capabilities of his passive ability "self healing" which would explain how he was so pain free after waking up after eating the bear's leg. He didn't realize just how angry he truly was until he looked around him to see at least 10 trees about the same size still lying where they fell.
After calming himself down, which took a while in itself, he could now see the world again as it was. Normal looking, calm, leaves flowing through the air as the subtle breeze made Velios feel refreshed again. He is one weird person, people from all societies around the world would think so, even people from the past hundreds, maybe even thousands of years they would probably still think so to some degree. Velios usually makes a clear distinction between what he likes and dislikes, what he cares about and what he couldn't care less of, it's all very clear for him. When it's something he likes and cares about, he's often very passionate as most would be, but Velios often takes those to the extreme. So he started thinking to himself, I wonder if any people have even gone out in the forest. Most people were what people would call "consumed by technology" which means that they were dependent on it.
But by far it was the most knowledgeable age yet so far in history which means that it was that much more to consume when it came to knowledge so that I could be much more ahead. But still, I wonder if they have started forming parties or groups yet. I saw a bunch of shops on the way, and to be fair the city was kind of huge, it did still take me a full day to run from the city center to the edge, walking and sleeping would take just that many more days. But still, I keep on wondering what they're doing back at the city and even more so of where all the others are located, they could be within weeks walking distance or thousand of kilometers away. He somehow managed to keep on thinking those types of thoughts until his body and especially his shins and knuckles were fully healed. He had learned something, without a proper base or camp, sleep would prove to be a danger hazard if any wild life were to come. So until he got to fight something again, he decided to keep on training, but he wasn't able to choose. Since he'd got stronger he now has many more ways to train, But what?
