Training Begins

After really careful consideration, he had finally come up with an answer to his next brutal training idea. He thought that it was brilliant and the pain from it was Velioss' reward, he felt pleased knowing that all pain he experienced was from hard work. Ten thousand handstand pushups in a row without falling, if he fell even once, then he would destroy one of the thicker trees, roughly double the thickness of the first tree he destroyed, then he would sprint, not walk or even jog, sprint as fast as possible for at least an hour and then destroy another tree of the same thickness.

After all of that he would start over from zero and do that cycle over and over until he gets it. "This is my path of no return, and I shall never cease to stop." He just wanted to say something cool to hype himself up for the grueling future he had laid out to himself.

Then he started standing up on his hands, drilling his fingers into the ground so that he wouldn't leave the ground every time pushing upwards, and then he began doing them. One after the other he repped them out like no other. He stabilized his entire body by mostly squeezing his abdominal muscles, but also the rest of his body. He thought about the fact that it still was pretty easy, since the most he could manage in his old life were around ten of them with good form. He could still do way more, he would just struggle really much after the first ten.

But he knew that it wouldn't be easy, after he had done over two hundred of them and his arms started fatiguing, he was slowing down. The strength he had recently obtained wasn't close to enough.

He still prioritized good form over anything else, but speed and explosiveness had been his biggest ally and now it took more than three seconds a rep minimum. He knew he couldn't reach anywhere close to his goal, but as it was right now, he didn't even think he was going to reach the four digit mark. And then after nearly seven hundred grueling reps, his muscles started shaking, his body couldn't take it and when he tried to come back up Velios didn't move an inch, he tried pushing for another five seconds until he eventually collapsed, his total for his first round, was 894 handstand pushups. "I may have overestimated this challenge just a little bit."

After catching up his breath. He punched the ground in frustration, but his arms were so tired that they basically had no strength in them. He slowly got back up on his feet and proceeded to head to the closest tree to begin his punishment. He started kicking and punching the tree but with little to no strength. He slowly increased his power with every hit and in little to no time he swung and kicked as hard as he could. Next he increased his speed with every connection. The difference was huge, even though he knew that both together would be best, the increase in speed proved to be the biggest difference.

And now with him hitting and kicking the tree with his strongest and fastest combinations of attacks, the tree slowly began to break apart, piece after piece either barely sticking on or flying away. That feeling of domination, ultimate strength gave him even more motivation. He started moving so fast that it was hard to see what he did sometimes. It would be impossible for the human eye to even count how many he did. The tree began to break faster, but there were still the majority of the tree left. It would definitely take some time, but he wouldn't slow down for even a second. In the end, he kept on going full out on that tree for about 20 minutes. But he really started to sense which was the problem. He could probably destroy the tree faster if he was fully healed, but he didn't know for sure. It was still yet a theory, but he started thinking about it. Will my regenerate abilities win, or will the fatigue cease everything completely, will my regeneration be able to keep up?
