Vadh wasn't randomly punching or blocking hoping for the best anymore. He had long given up on that idea. Although he didn't realise it himself yet, his instincts as a killer were slowly returning as the battle progressed, every single one of his senses except for vision growing sharp enough to be able to defend from attacks. Vadh was moving around much more, unconsciously taking in information on the surrounding. Although it was flat, there was a multitude of obstacles. Ragaja threw a punch which Vadh barely dodged by tilting back, almost falling off balance. Ajagar tried to kick him from the side, her whole body covered in flaming hot mana but somehow, it was like Vadh could see perfectly well, catching the kick at the expense of his hand being damaged, aiming a kick towards her that Ragaja barely stepped in to block in time.
Their battle continued growing in intensity, all of them growing increasingly stronger. Flames were covering the field which once was full of life from the forest, now beams of flames flying everywhere, all of them aimed at Vadh. Although he wasn't allowed to use magic to directly hurt them, he could still use mana to strengthen himself or counter their attacks. Vadh was stuck to a short range but his sudden movements were more than unpredictable, making up for the difference in number. It was like Vadh was fighting more like a wild animal, doing everything to dodge or attack, even if it meant hurting himself in the process. Dislocating joints, breaking bones, taking blows head on just to have a better chance at attacking. Despite his healing absorbing most of the pain straight away, no sane person would do so normally. With that being said, Velios was the one who told him to practice that fighting style.
Vadh was landing more hits than before, but none powerful enough to take either of them out. Not only were they incredibly durable because of them being superior dragons, but also because the amount of mana they had strengthened their bodies due to the simple fact that the mana had nowhere else to go. The mana's users weren't strong enough to fully control it all so over the course of their life, their bodies were slowly merging with that mana, growing slightly more durable as a result. Even as Vadh was using mana to improve his own physical capabilities, he remembered something Velios had told them before. "I didn't know you had an interest in dragons, Vadh. You see, even among dragons, those two possess far greater talent than most. Of course, being dragons gives them a huge advantage, but they're still young. They're not even close to reaching their next evolutionary state, but they're still much closer to it than you. Ajagar has only been a superior dragon for a few weeks and Ragaja has only been one for a few years."
As the fight continued, it was becoming more difficult for Vadh despite his improvements. Ajagar and Ragaja were only growing stronger, far too much compared to Vadh who was fighting against both of them alone. Their speed, magic control and strength were continuously growing, their fight becoming one-sided once again. As Vadh was being hit continuously, he took a second to think about just how evil and wicked of a person you have to be to do this to someone else. Eventually, he even started to see Velios' face right infront of him, but it was not because he resented him or anything. It was because he was feeling a slight hint of fear, one that continued to grow. "Why don't you just quit?" "You're a useless excuse for an intelligent monster." "You have no talent whatsoever." "You're falling behind." "I don't need you anymore." Vadh's version of Velios kept on spitting out sentence after sentence. Deep down he knew Velios wouldn't-- okay, maybe he would, but the version he was seeing of Velios wasn't the one he knew. It was nothing but a fake.
The fight lasted for hours and none had stopped yet. Vadh had only been killed seven times in total yet he had survived for over three hours without stop, still going. The fight was exhausting not only him, but his brain. He had the mana, but he lacked control over it for long periods at a time. He couldn't constantly maintain it like Velios, or Shiva. It would suddenly remove protection in on spot completely or gather up in one spot. It would basically fluctuate and become unstable the more he tried to think about. Think about it...? That's right, Vadh knew exactly what to do. He just had to stop thinking about it. No matter what, he wouldn't have a problem with his defensive magic fluctuating if he never had any in the first place. That way, he could at least feel temporarily okay with himself, despite knowing that the reason is because he can't control it.
Vadh suddenly appeared out of nowhere infront of Ajagar. He was just fighting Ragaja, focusing solely on him but something was different. It was like he stopped trying to hide the fact that his fighting style had no technique at all. He was just going wild at this point, or that's what it looked like at least. Despite the face he was making, the smile that kept growing and the urge for blood increasing, Ajagar had no time to run away. She shielded herself the best way she could, Ragaja striking at Vadh from behind. Ragaja's hand powerfully went through the unprotected body of Vadh, the knockback that would have come from the strike normally had he defended with mana, now Ragaja's fist stuck in Vadh's torso. Vadh struck powerfully, his fingers closing in while sharpening, making his fingers more lethal than most weapons. Blood flew everywhere as his straight-forward strike connected.
From the middle of the forearm and down to the tip of her fingers, both of her arms were instantly cut off, sending blood flying in all directions, the decapitated parts of her arms falling flat towards the ground, making a not-so-loud thud as they landed. Vadh smiled even wider, his eyes pinching due to the enjoyment of hurting and the sensation of warm blood landing on his exposed skin. But something felt weird. Vadh had missed the finishing blow, his strike having landed just slightly to the left, having missed the veins in the neck and instead having pierced through her body where her collarbone was located, just barely missing the strike which was fatal. Vadh clenched his fist before pulling out his arm, a big hole remaining where he had impaled her, instantaneously pulling his other arm back to aim for neck. But his attack was cut off.
The fist which had pierced through Vadh's body began to emit a hot fire which continued to grow in size, burning through him slowly but surely. The hole expanded in size, the blood instantly boiling up before evaporating. Ajagar, still in shock from the previous attack panicked. She didn't know what to do or how to react which lead to her next action. A powerful and fierce amount of fire began destroying everything close to it, stemming from Ajagar as she let out a scream. Ragaja was caught off-guard, but barely making it away in time. The same thing could however not be said for the injured Vadh. His injuries were already beginning to heal but all he could do was sense the heat from the flame, but also the steadily increasing mana in the air, something he didn't even know was possible.
Vadh was burnt to pieces the flame completely surrounding him and burning his unprotected body to a a burnt up corpse. Ajagar stopped screaming shortly after before falling backwards, landing on the ground which was already in flames, although it didn't seem to be hurting her despite being unconscious. Ragaja looked up, taking time to catch his breath, not yet having seen the destruction which was caused. Vadh had been naturally summoned back, but a looming figure watched over him, forcing him to stop temporarily. Although Vadh couldn't see, he knew that Freya was up to no good. He had heard her way too well during the past hours, saying comments no other person would dare to utter around Velios while watching a big, bright screen made of holy magic infront of her.
Ragaja catched his breath at last, trying to stand straight despite his lungs having absorbed most of the deadly fumes Vadh's natural mana possessed after it had become unstable due to him dying. He looked up, his face turning from an expression of tiredness and exhaustion to one of pure shock. "What the--" Ragaja looked around him, the whole area having been turned to ashes, what remained of the trees were now fully black and the ground had also changed to a much darker, almost purely black color aswell. Ragaja, since being a dragon, had a much bigger immunity to flames than most but even so, he looked down at his body, noticing huge burn marks. "--actual fuck...?" The area which had been affected was much larger than he had anticipated, probably stretching for multiple kilometers. Realising that Ajagar herself was tired only added on to the fact that the magic she just had released was on the weaker side of what she was actually capable of.
