Nice Meal

"Oi! Freya! What happened?!" Vadh shouted, confused yet angry and irritated. He had no idea what just happened, after all, he had died almost instantly. "Freya! Let me fight them! I was just about to let them get a taste of my anger...!" Vadh kept grinding his teeth, wearing an angry expression on his face, his eyes open and squinting, his eyebrows titlting down. He knew he couldn't do anything against Freya, especially in a fight but even so, he held his hand forwards in a fist, his fist slightly shaking back and forth from just tensing the muscles in his arm. Freya almost returned back to old habits, but thanks to her having been in the outside world, her previous habit of spying on men in secret and craving every single one had mostly disappeared, although traces of it remained in her speech and actions. "H-Hey, Vadh! It's Velios' orde-" As she said that, she started getting pictures of Velios in her head, instantly stopping her sentence in embarrasment, Vadh hearing the faint sound of drool almost dripping down the side of her mouth.

After getting to know Vadh, her feelings remained more neutral, most of the affection for him having disappeared. Vadh was left to his own as Freya left him standing there, fantasising to herself as Ragaja rushed towards the unconscious Ajagar lying flat on her back on the completely burnt up ground. Ragaja rushed over, arriving almost instantly before taking one knee to the ground, looking at her. "Freya! Can you come over he-" Ragaja had checked her for any more wounds except for the one she got by Vadh before turning his head around and shouting, stopping just before he could finish the sentence, seeing that Freya was completely red in the face, disconnected from the reality around her. "Freya!" He shouted out louder, throwing a nearby rock that instantly shattered as it hit her head, the rock having significantly weakened due to the fire.

Freya broke out of her sudden trance, looking around embarrasingly before she realised that Vadh was blindfolded. Vadh still knew exactly what she was doing from the sounds she made and the tiniest of winds she produced with each movement. "Freya! Just come already!" Ragaja screamed even louder, Freya slightly jumping up when she realised she almost began to trail off again, despite having been released from her trance mere seconds ago. She ran towards Ajagar's unmoving body, a holy light enveloping her body and healing her wounds. She acted like the previous stuff hadn't happened at all. Her body was still and relaxed but her face was making all kinds of expressions that none of them could see, most of them just different forms of embarrasments.

"She's fully healed, although it looked like she used too much mana... or something..." She said the last part quietly so that they barely heard her. She didn't want to admit that she was distracted by something completely else while the battle was going and mostly just made an educated guess on what it could be to make it seem like she actually took responsibility. Vadh almost thought about attacking, readying up his fists again. It didn't make sense that Velios would order them to stop before they were done, and he wasn't even here currently. It was just Freya throwing around her authority as one of the stronger ones. But just before he could do anything, he heard footsteps. They were unnatural, Vadh couldn't even pinpoint what kind of creature it was and when he listened to what was happening infront of him, it seemed like none of them had reacted to it yet.

Vadh began to panic slightly after realising that the possibilities of it being a human was more than likely. How would a human react if they saw two dragons, a goddess and an intelligent monster straight out of someone's nightmares? Vadh began to try and think, he tried to remove the blindfold, but nothing happened. He pulled harder and harder, but it was basically stuck to his face. Damn that guys' magic...! Why does it have to be so GODDAMN EFFECTIVE?! Vadh was screaming internally, getting angrier and angrier as he tried to pull the blindfold down, grunting while doing so. "Vadh, what are you over there grunting for?" Vadh heard Ragaja's voice, but something was concerning him. Whatever it was that was walking in their direction was getting closer and closer, but somehow, he still didn't even know what kind of creature it was. The pattern was just too irregular.

"Shhh! Can't you hear that someone's coming?!" Vadh tried to shout while whispering at the same time, warning them that someone was coming. What worried him wasn't that a human was going to found them in the middle of the forest, or found them right where a massive part of the forest had basically caught on fire, but what they'd have to do to not suffer further at the hands of Velios. One wrong move and they would have to fight him for hours upon end if not worse. Vadh tried to not scream loudly, obviously thinking too much of the consequenses to notice what was going on around him. "What the hell do you think Velios would do if we did something to a huma-" "Vadh! Behind you!" Ragaja shouted in the middle of his sentence, but it only made him more irritated. Due to this irritation, Vadh's mind didn't process what the words actually meant since he was more angry that he continued shouting despite having whispered.

Vadh suddenly coughed up blood. He couldn't even react to what had happened. It was like the pain was somehow none existent, yet he knew that something was wrong. Some part of his body was injured severely and his regeneration did nothing. His body told him that nothing was wrong, yet he was coughing up blood. That together with the previous warning from Ragaja, he came to one conclusion. He tried to look down, his head facing downwards but he quickly realised that he couldn't see anything. He was then suddenly coughing up more blood than before, the sound of blood he hadn't coughed up touching the ground mere seconds after. Vadh didn't know why, but he couldn't move either. He was trying to move his body, but it wasn't responding to him. Matter of fact, he could no longer turn his head and his body which he could feel previously wasn't there anymore, as if it had disappeared. In that moment, he was more like a floating box with consciousness than he was himself.

Freya gasped, no coherent words exiting her mouth. Ragaja panicked, a cold sweat forming as a result. None of them seemed to be able to speak during the moment. Vadh didn't realise what had happened or if anything had happened. He just suddenly stopped coughing blood completely and instead, his feeling of touch was gone instead. He tried to speak, his mouth moving but no words came out. His vochal cords were gone. "Who're you?!" Freya stood up straight, facing the mysterious creature who stood behind Vadh, holding his severed head by the hair. The creature smiled widly, chuckling to themselves in a rather deep voice. But the creature did not speak, it only held Vadh's severed head, having already burnt the rest of his body to mere ashes. "Answer me! Who are you-" The creature crushed Vadh's head, blood flying everywhere as small pieces of his skull and brain all shattered against the pressure of the creature's hand, creating a gruesome and horrific scene on the ground infront of them, the blood making everything more red as pieces of the brain and eyes were mushed together with the bones of Vadh's face.

The creature smiled even more widly than before, but it did not speak. Instead, it laughed like it didn't care. As if it knew who and what Freya was, but simply didn't care. The creature squatted down, picking up a piece of Vadh's mushy brain together with what was in the pile of Vadh's mushed up head, the creature's fist full of a mixture of different things from Vadh's entire head, staring at his hand which was holding the previous parts of Vadh's head.

With the creature's smile still intact, the creature opened its mouth, its whole fist going inside before releasing its grip on the mushed-up objects in its hand, removing its hand from its mouth before swallowing, continuing to smile forwards, using the back of one of its hand to wipe of the saliva mixed with blood and small bits brain or bone that fell off on the way towards its mouth. The creature's posture changed suddenly, the monster hunching over. Out of nowhere, it changed its posture once again, an explosive movement as it looked up into the night sky, laughing hysterically as it was holding one of its hands, covering its eyes and parts of its face.
