Reunion

She felt the hand holding her in place as she couldn't move away from it. Immediate fear washed over her, thinking back to what had just happened. Without even turning around, a massive beam of deadly light came striking at the person behind her from out of nowhere. As soon as she felt the person's grip disappear from her, she immediately moved away, adrenaline rushing throughout her body, her guard way up and ready for any more attacks. She was breathing heavily, fully ready to fight if needed, yet scared that she was going to do hopelessly. She still had no idea why she was way outside of Earth's atmosphere and up in space, but as the beam of lightning eventually stopped, a lone silhouette of a person standing there like nothing was revealed.

"Who- Wait... Ve-" She didn't even get a chance to finish the sentence as Velios suddenly appeared besides her, way fast for her to see. "It's been a while, Freya. What happened while I was gone? It's not like you to kill yourself." Velios spoke in a rather monotone voice, yet breathing a lot heavier than any normal person. He hadn't understood the severity of what had happened, nor realised that the matter was serious because some person or creature must have been strong enough to defeat Freya. "V-Velios?! W-what are you doing up in space? You're a human!" She had almost fully forgot all of her previous worries to instead worry about Velios. She didn't even think it was possible for humans to survive in space's climate, yet Velios was perfectly fine, albeit injured from his training. "Don't worry about me, I'm fine, see? And what happened while I was gone? It's not like you to just die all of a sudden.. or the rest of them for that matter."

Freya snapped out of her worrysome state, the memories of what had happened flooding into her brain, her face becoming pale as a result. Velios saw the changes in her face and immediately understood that something was wrong. "Don't move." Velios grabbed onto her body without any regards for her personal or intimate space as his hands moved naturally, one grabbing her body and the other her head. Due to this sudden movement, Freya was caught off-guard and became completely red in the face when she felt Velios' fingers onto hers. She didn't know how to react to it as she just floated there, feeling herself becoming hotter and hotter before Velios finally stopped, removing both of his hands from her body. Freya unconsciously reached out her hand as if to grab Velios' hand because she didn't want him to go away, but Freya stopped her already futile attempt after she saw the look on Velios' face.

"Let's go." Velios made clear that he was going to waste absolutely zero time. After having scanned her memories, he knew exactly what had happened, including having seen who it was. "I'm going to have a talk with him... Do you have any idea how long you were unconscious for between the deaths?" Velios stared into her eyes with the face of a killer. His eyes had regained that emotionless state and even the excitement of battle had his face completely still. Freya was shocked at his comment. She had no idea why she touched her head, but was he really able to scan through her memories? just like that? It hadn't even taken a minute yet he talked like he saw all of it in detail. "Velios...! I think..." She was unsure if she could even finish the sentence herself. She didn't want to make any assumptions, but it was more than likely. Even so, she couldn't finish the sentence.

"I already know who it is. Now let's go." Velios left her speechless as if he knew exactly what she was trying to say. Freya trusted Velios that he knew exactly who she was thinking it was aswell. Suddenly, she could feel herself being teleported, but just before she was fully gone from the almost empty void which was space, something caught her eye. She thought she saw wrong at first, but if anything, she should have known better. The reason she was able to slack off so much before she met Velios was because one of her jobs was to make sure that there was no permanent damage caused to any of the planets. With that being said, out of everyone in the whole world, she should know exactly how many planets there are at the least, so why was one completely missing?

The creature was freely roaming around the underground city, doing anything it pleased at anytime. It had killed its victims, eaten them, raped them, tortured them and much more, solely for its own pleasure and solace because it was in its nature to do so. Then again, it did so happily as it took its time, having as much of its own version of fun with all of its victims. One by one, people were slowly disappearing in the dimly lit alleys of the red lights district. The creature didn't have to ask itself why he did any of it. Even if it wasn't fun, even if it hurt itself, it would do whatever it wanted to, because who was there to stop it? Without realising it however, its existence had become more known and widespread, people had become more wary of something happening in the shadows and the ones with authority had already begun investigating.

The creature was walking around as if it owned the place, paying no mind to the other people as it went around killing and doing whatever it wanted in public. It realised that there was no one who could stop him anyways. All the humans were too weak and even the angel from before, albeit one on the weaker side, it felt unstoppable. The massive amounts of energy were practically spilling off of its body as it walked around, making the air itself feel heavier. The creature felt truly unstoppable for once, knowing that the only individual who could stop it was way too far away and most likely had no idea what was happening. As the creature kept walking, all it took was for a single moment, faster than it could blink, and it was somewhere completely else. It's smug smile was replaced by a confused look. It's eyes widened in shock, not because of fear or anything like that, but because of confusement. Only mere seconds passed until it sensed the presence of the very person who had teleported him here, Velios.

Not even a word was exchanged before blows were being traded. The creature immediately went on the offensive, destroying everything in its surroundings with every single attack, attacking at speeds faster than every single human except for one. Thousands of attacks were being traded, all dealt with instantly from both parties, but they were only testing each other out, as if playing to see just how serious they want to get. As they moved to even closer combat, Velios went to punch him, but as the hit landed, a sharp and stinging pain was felt across his entire punching arm. He jumped backwards, looking like he teleported as he looked at his arm that had been cut within his arm from magic only accessible to demons.

Velios healed his arm instantly, paying mind to the fact that there was much he still didn't know about the demonic race. As they continued fighting, his face remained almost completely still as they continued fighting. The demon was laughing at every hit it landed, showering itself in compliments and freely talking about all the things which it had done. Even with all of the talking, Velios remained stoic, looking like he almost didn't care about that, which was... weird in itself. That was neither the only thing that was weird. Velios was not only acting weird, but he wasn't fighting like he usually would. He had barely used any magic and had basically only been on the defensive. Even so, the creature kept believing that it had truly become powerful, which it definitely had. If Velios let his guard down, an attack that proves to be fatal might even come.

The creature had caused several wounds on Velios while Velios was seemingly struggling to defend. Velios had suffered multiple cuts and burn wounds on his body that he was constantly healing. But even so, the attacks were roughless, relentless and never stopped. "Velios! Are you enjoying this?! Because I am! I love seeing you struggling! I'll fucking teach you, you insignificant human!" The creature shouted at the top of their lungs, the already mana-rich area growing due to the creatures mana growing aswell. "I have no reason why! But you teleported us to this moon, and it'll serve as the perfect graveyard for you!" The location Velios had teleported them too was the moon of earth itself, or at least the moon of this virtual world's earth. "Die!" The creature shouted out once more, chanting incoherent words that sounded made up, a slash sharp enough to cut through almost anything sent flying towards Velios who would have no time to react.
