She's PREGNANT!

Everyone was shocked. Marigold stood embarrassed and awkward. Choice was clearly caught off guard.

"Emma, don't say such things..."

The village workers nearby laughed heartily, enjoying the juicy gossip.

"I heard Miss Mary is still unmarried. Aren't you single too? Why don't you two just be together?"

Upon hearing this, Bingo, who was resting in the corner, suddenly started barking wildly.

"It seems someone disagrees," a burly, gray-haired man with a full beard, commented boisterously.

"Miss Mary is being watched closely by her relatives," Choice said, scratching the back of his head, a hint of embarrassment in his voice. "He's a man with a crisp voice and a decidedly masculine air."

Marigold cleared her throat. "That's not the case at all. I'm not interested in dating for the time being."

Everyone started booing. The burly man laughed heartily, a robust sound like boulders tumbling.
