RELIEF FROM WITHIN

"So, I was thinking," Henry cleared their throat. "I want to go visit a new place in town."

"Okay, where is it? And what is it?" I asked.

"It's a suite. It also has a restaurant."

"A suite? Catchy. Someone wants to go spend some money."

"I was wondering if you would follow me."

"Are you asking me out on a date, Mr. Henry?" I grinned.

"It's not a date. It's more of a hangout," Henry's voice cracked.

"Great! I'll invite Hannah then!"

"No!" Henry exclaimed slightly. "I just want it to be both of us."

"Okay..." I stressed. "It's a date then."

Henry facepalmed and said, "Whatever. But would you follow me?"

"When are you going exactly?"

"The day after tomorrow, I think," Henry scratched his hair. "Any day your dad lets you go."

"My dad? He would say yes if I told him now."

"I don't think so," Henry slid on the chair.

"Why don't you think so?"

"I mean, you're just recovering, and the town is unsafe."
