Emily, a seventeen-year-old eleventh-grade student, tragically lost her mother to a pack of werewolves. In response, her father John, who had witnessed the horrific incident, left home to study werewolf hunting. Driven by a deep-seated hatred for werewolves, John returned a year later, determined to avenge his wife's death.  "I woke up one morning and asked myself, 'Where would I be in the next five years?' Then I remembered, in the ranch with horses, goats, and chickens," my uncle retorted. 


 Everyone - my sister, me, my uncle's wife and kids - laughed. The whole living room had been laughing all morning. Uncle's son had promised that if we spent the morning together, he would take us shopping in the afternoon. So here we were, laughing and making jokes.

 "Oh college was great. I found out that I wasn't the only stupid person on the planet. One time, I was awoken from my sleep when I heard a loud thud. I turned on the lights quickly and found out that it was just my roommate who had fallen from the top bunk. The best part was, he was still sleeping even though he had fallen like a heavy book from the sky," Jeremiah narrated.
