Early To Bed, Early To… Another World

"Wake up you idiot!" The sound of a female reverberated in his ears.

He groaned softly. His body turned on the bed. He used his pillow to cover his head in an attempt to blur out the sound of the voice.

"Get up!" The female voice repeated.

The voice increased in its crescendo, piercing through the pillow and massaging his ear drums.

I'm almost up

He groaned softly. His body turned away. A few nonsensical words escaped his lips and he continued his sleep.

"For the love of god, GET UP!!!" The female voice screamed. Her screaming wasn't particularly loud, in fact compared with the tone of her voice previously, this was probably the lightest that her voice sounded, yet it succeeded is seperating Hori from his bed.

"I'm up!" His body jolted as he jumped away from his bed. He used his hands to cover his ears.

His head started spinning as soon as he stood up so he fell back on the bed.

"Wait". He realized something. "You're not my alarm".

Standing in front of him was a woman that looked to be in her mid twenties. Her hair which fell over her back was a golden blonde color. Her blue eyes flickered with amusement as she stared at him.

Her face… there was only one word that Hori knew that would be able to qualify her face… beautiful.

Her face was exquisitely shaped in a way that highlighted her blonde hair and her blue eyes. Her fair skin seemed to be without any flaws. Hori almost started drooling on the spot.

"You can be my alarm if you want". Hori muttered. "I don't mind".

The blonde haired girl didn't seem to be offended by Hori's comment. In face, she seemed amused.

"I'm not an alarm clock you shameless pervert". Her hand moved and landed a slap across Hori's face.

Against all odds, Hori's body slid from his bed and landed on the floor. He stood up slowly, curiosity settling in his eyes. How can this pretty looking girl be that strong.

"Who are you?" Hori muttered. He couldn't bring himself to talk louder. He was assaulted by a banging headache as soon as he could bring himself to stand up.

"I am the wife of the person that you assaulted yesterday night". The female said.

"Assaulted?" Hori's headache became worse as he tried to recall the events that occurred the previous day. He remembered the editors' choice awards, the rich editor and…

That was all. He must've gotten drunk already when it happened.

"Which editor did I assault?" Hori asked lightly. "Was it the one with the diamond watch?"

Pa!

Hori was sent flying again. This time, he crashed on the desk on which his laptop lay. He muttered some nonsensical words as he slowly got to his feet. He took a look at the laptop on the floor.

"You shameless idiot". The female shouted. "You assaulted my husband, robbed him and you still have the nerve to act clueless about the entire situation".

"So it was the rich editor then". Hori muttered to himself. He glanced at the broken laptop. If the hot lady was telling the truth then he should've gotten enough from the editor to easily buy a new laptop.

"So now you remember, you shameless scoundrel". She slapped Hori again. Once again, Hori was sent flying and crashed on the door to his bathroom.

"Crap!" At this rate, he was going to have to use all the money from his 'loot' to fix up the apartment.

"Now that you have accepted your crimes, what do you think should be your punishment?" The female asked.

"Who are you again?" Hori raised a brow. The look of genuine surprise on his face made it impossible for the female to suspect that he was pretending. "And how are you this strong?"

"I am a demigod". The female had a look of pride on her face as she spoke. "Daughter of Artemis".

"Demigod?" Hori furrowed his brows. At the moment he suddenly realized something. "Wait, how did you even get the key to my apartment?"

"I just said I am a demigod, you little piece of shit!" The daughter of Artemis said while landing another slap on Hori's face. "You know my mother and I were looking for a suitable punishment for you and we already decided". Her lips curled upward to form a smirk. "Then it hit me, if your book isn't so crappy then why don't you try living in it".

"You can't do that". Hori said. His voice backed up by the confidence that he got from god knows where. "Demigods aren't that powerful".

"Let's see about that". The daughter of Artemis pointed her finger towards Hori. A golden ray of light escaped her finger and encapsulated Hori's body.

After a few moments, Hori's body bursted to form tiny dots of light which dispersed a few moments after.

"Let's see how you like living in your own book". The daughter of Artemis said. The smile on her face showing how pleased she was with herself.
