"See? What did I tell you". Hori said lightly. "You're just a demigod, you can't do shit".
It was only after Hori had finished talking that he noticed the changes in his environment, he was no longer inside his room.
In front of him was a boy that looked about thirteen years of age. The boy had long black hair which flowed freely to his back. There were multiple scars etched on his face.
Hori's eyes widened in realization at that moment. He looked at himself. He was wearing a black battle themed set of clothes. There was a knife in his hands. He plucked out a strand of hair and saw that his hair was black.
No! She didn't…
He looked to his side and saw a worn out cottage close to him. He stared back at the thirteen year old boy in front of him and began to lament.
"That asshat! She actually sent me to my book". He looked at himself again. "And she gave me the body of someone with such a poor magic constitution, an ordinary mage!"
"I don't know what you're talking about Arthur". The thirteen year old Buh in front of him said. "But nothing can save you now".
Oh no, it can't be now…
He looked at the thirteen year old boy and realization dawned on him. This was the day after the MC finds the immortal meditation technique in his attic. He should've used it by now and gotten a huge increase in strength.
Arthur was the person that bullied the MC the mist so fhe MC was most likely here for revenge. According to the book, the MC really beat up Arthur.
That little…
Hori didn't get the luxury of finishing this train of thought, the fist of the thirteen year old boy already found his face.
He felt a sudden weightlessness which was succeeded by an all round body ache as he body crashed onto the floor.
"Derek, wait!" Hori said lightly. He was massaging his jaw to make sure that it wasn't broken. "We can talk about this. Let's be civilized!"
Derek merely laughed Hori's words off. "You're talking about civility?" He continued walking towards Hori. "Last time we met, I don't recall you being so civil".
Derek picked Hori up and punched him again, sending him flying for some distance before his body painfully crashed on the ground.
Damnit this kid! Why pick me up if you know that you're going to throw me back on the floor.
Hori clenched his teeth, then he loosened it. The most recent lunch from Derek successfully broke his jaw. "Please…" Hori muttered. Not because he wanted to keep his voice low, but because his jaw didn't allow him to be as loud as he wanted.
If his jaw wasn't broken, he would've started screaming for help.
Derek didn't seem to hear Hori's pleading though. He walked to Hori, raised his leg and stomped on Hori's mid section. He followed the action up with a stomp towards Hori's face.
"The last time we met, I also said please". Derek smiled evily. He had a bad feeling about what was about to happen. "Do you know what you did?"
Don't tell me…
In the book, while the Derek was begging for mercy, Arthur took a handful of dirt and shoved it up his mouth, telling Derek that it was the only method to keep him quiet.
Hori was regretting his skills as a writer. If he was some thrash beginner, then his beat up scene wouldn't be that grueling, or so he thought.
Derek bent down and picked up a handful of sand. "Let me show you what you did".
Hori didn't know what happened, all he knew was that two seconds later, he was hot on his heels running as far away from Derek as possible.
Good thing that asshole MC isn't the type to pursue a fleeting target.
Just as Hori was celebrating in his mind, he saw a figure in front of him that made him freeze.
"How did…". He looked behind him. Wasn't Derek just behind him.
"I'm going to enjoy doing this…".
Just as Derek was about to approach him, everywthing froze. Derek stopped dead in his tracks. Hori tried to move but found that he couldn't move his legs.
Time and space had frozen!

Hori was confused. What the hell was a god punishing system. It was as if the system heard his thought because as soon as he finished that thread of thought he heard another ding.
|Ding! The god punishment system is a system designed to help unfortunate victims such as yourself who have been punished by a god|
|Ding! Does host wish to see his stats|
"Yes". Hori said lightly. If he could move at all, he would've winced in pain. Saying that word alone word punished his jaw.
