Chapter 128 A Deal

The room was dimly lit, with a single, flickering overhead light casting long shadows across the cold, concrete walls.

The air was thick with an unsettling tension, every sound amplified in the oppressive silence.

The man in the chair exuded an air of authority and menace that seemed to seep into every corner of the room.

As the young lady entered, the man's voice cut through the stillness like a blade. "Sit," he instructed, his tone smooth and deceptively gentle.

The command was accompanied by a gesture towards the metal chair facing him. She complied immediately, her movements precise and measured, and placed the bag she carried on the floor beside her.

The man's gaze was sharp and unyielding, his eyes fixed on her with an intensity that made the air crackle with unease.

He examined her closely, his lips curling into a sly, almost predatory smile. "Nice, a fierce one," he remarked, his voice low and dripping with a dangerous charm.
