Chapter 37: Reality is a Bitch

*Rosie Fay-Donovan*

Saying goodbye to Logan and Liam the next day was sadder than I was expecting. Archie and I had spent the previous day enjoying the resort and spending some quality time with them since we didn’t know when we’d see each other again.

Liam promised he’d try to find some time to visit us in New York, and I said I’d make sure Archie and I visited him in Italy in the near future. Logan kept reminding us about his upcoming collection in December and asked if we could spend Christmas together, which I loved the idea.

For the past two years, the holidays had been nothing but a reminder that my father wasn’t around anymore. He loved Christmas and he always liked to spend it with everyone in our manor—all his men and their families were invited.

I missed having that. I missed our home being a place where people could feel comfortable and safe. So, before we headed to the airport and back to our lives in NYC, I told him that I’d be delighted to organize everything.
