The upcoming days were smooth as I prepared for the Christmas party that was just around the corner. I was a bit hesitant about throwing it in our penthouse, fearing it wouldn’t be as cozy and comfortable as it used to be in our old mansion, but I didn’t want to rent a venue for it.
It wouldn’t feel like Christmas if we weren’t somehow at home. Because of that, I had to make some arrangements, and with Johnnie and Ruby’s help, I managed to clear some space on the rooftop, so now we would be able to accommodate everyone.
However, before the holidays arrived, something was pending that was making me somewhat nervous. The whole issue with the Irish was constantly at the back of my mind, even though there wasn’t much going on.
Archie talked to Sami before he left for his vacation, and they decided it was better to wait to make the next move. After the casino's failed attempt to be robbed, the Irish remained silent, so they could have given up on coming for us.
