Last night I slept in Prince Kloud’s arms. I had stirred in the middle of the night and found both his arms wrapped around me. He had pulled me on top of his body and one leg was wrapped around mine. 


I raised my head to stare down at him admiringly as he slept soundly. Even in his sleep, he was handsome, and his arrogant and boorish demeanor never changed. I tilted my head wondering why he had built such a hard wall around him. 


‘It does not matter. He is ours.’ My wolf paced up and down, sending a message through our mind link. 


‘No one is disputing that little fact.’ I responded. I leaned down and pressed a light kiss on his Adam's apple and then went back to sleep. 


 My wolf woke up happy and I felt all the weight in my shoulders lifted. Though Prince Kloud was nowhere in sight, the fact that he held me and rubbed my back made me blush in happiness. My feet hit the floor as I rushed to take a shower.
