Chapter 63: Transformation

PRINCE KLOUD’S POV

Once Randale and Armand left, Ulysses growled.

“You should have more faith in my second in command,” I pointed out.

“Kloud, do you know that Princess Rae is weak and has a simple mind.”

“You underestimate her.” I rolled my eyes at his dramatics.

“How?” he demanded, folding his arms over his chest.

“She knew that Vuk was her mate. I suspect that she convinced King Astaroth to let her come to the West Kingdom.”

“Are you sure?” Ulysses' eyes widened.

“You know your brother well. How did he remain calm and let us leave the East Kingdom?” I chuckled.

“That was it? Rae convinced him?” Ulysses yelled.

“Of course,” I nodded.

Ulysses groaned and leaned back on the couch. “Sh*t.”

“You overreacted.” I smiled warmly at my mate.

“She is my niece,” Ulysses tried to explain.

“You are being overprotective. I could get jealous,” I teased him.
