*Alistair*
Blackwood didn’t have the heart to bother Daphne after she returned to the small private bedroom in the back of the jet. Deep down, he knew that the two of them were in for a long overdue talk once they’d finally touch down in Rome.
In the meantime, Alistair had been finalizing a few legal documents with a slew of his lawyers. He wanted her to have access to the financial accounts as well as have her name next to his on the deed to the manor.
‘I want it to become her home. She belongs there whether she’s willing to admit it or not,’ he thought brazenly to himself.
