[35] Wagnaria Restaurant

Chapter 35: Wagnaria Restaurant

The next day, after taking care of his morning routine, Yuta locked the door and set out with the three sisters to visit their family home.

Now, the four of them felt more like a family. The use of the bathroom was no longer spaced out, and Yuta didn't have to wait an hour after Sora and Miu used it before he could go in.

After Sora was done, Yuta could use it right away. If he was quick enough, it might still be warm when he sat down... though that wasn't really possible, as it wasn't winter, and the difference wasn't that noticeable.

Yuta had noticed this, so even though Sora and Miu hadn't said anything, he would still wait five minutes before going in.

"We're going out~ We're going out~ So happy!"

Among the four of them, Hina was the most excited, leading the way as they left.

Yuta was preoccupied with thoughts about making money, while Sora and Miu still hadn't recovered from last night's conversation, both thinking about Yuta needing to find a girlfriend.

Sora liked Yuta. There wasn't a big age difference between them, and they weren't related by blood, but they were still family in name, making it hard to define their relationship.

Compared to the indecisive and shy Sora, Miu had thought even further.

Currently, all three girls were under Yuta's care, and Miu believed that Yuta would surely find a beautiful girlfriend.

What worried Miu most wasn't her own or Sora's feelings for Yuta, but how his girlfriend might affect them.

Yuta had been working so hard to take care of them, and Miu wanted him to be happy and live a fulfilling life, but she was also concerned that his girlfriend might not like them.

Ugh!

Miu sighed. If only her sister or she could be Yuta's girlfriend, wouldn't that solve all the problems?

If she or her sister became Yuta's wife, they could take good care of Hina, and the whole family could stay together!

Looking at her sister beside her, Miu felt anxious for her.

If only she were a little older, then she could contribute more to the family!

Yuta had no idea what the two girls beside him were thinking. He still saw them as ordinary elementary school students and didn't give much thought to it. He couldn't imagine that these two young girls had such complex thoughts.

Since it wasn't rush hour, the train wasn't crowded, so there wasn't the usual crush of people.

Hina sat next to Yuta, curiously watching the scenery fly by outside the window.

The train sped along, steadily bringing them closer to their destination.

"Hina, I've found a kindergarten for you. Once school starts, you can go there and make lots of new friends!"

Yuta brought up the topic of kindergarten. Hanamaru Kindergarten was located near Ikebukuro, far from where they lived.

"Kindergarten? Is Hina going to school too?" Hina turned to Yuta when she heard the word "kindergarten." She had heard about kindergarten before and knew that she would be going there soon.

Yuta nodded. "That's right. There are many kids your age at the kindergarten, Hina. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with them!"

"Yay! Hina wants to go to kindergarten!" Hina was thrilled at the idea of making new friends. She was eager to start school, just like her uncle and sisters.

Meanwhile, Sora and Miu were growing more concerned.

"Uncle, it might be a bit troublesome for us to pick up and drop off Hina once she starts kindergarten," Sora said, worried about the future.

Miu nodded in agreement. "Yeah, the three of us have different school schedules, even yours, Big brother. Plus, the kindergarten isn't in the same direction as our schools. What about Hina…?"

Yuta nodded again. "I've thought about that. I'll try to rent an apartment nearby, so I can take care of Hina's drop-offs and pick-ups. But it might be a bit inconvenient for you two."

"We can manage on our own, but what about you, Uncle? Won't you need to work?" Sora asked, still uncertain about what kind of job Yuta had that made it seem like he didn't lack money.

Yuta was also anxious about the future. Taking Hina to and from kindergarten would make it impossible to do other work, and he still had to keep up with his university courses.

But no matter how tough it got, he was determined to manage it all.

"Don't worry. I've thought it through. Things will get easier after a while," Yuta said with a reassuring smile, trying to ease their concerns. He knew he'd find a way to make it work.

His calm tone made Sora and Miu feel a bit more at ease.

By the time they arrived in Ikebukuro, it was already noon, so Yuuta decided to find a family restaurant nearby.

"Wagnaria? What a strange name for a restaurant," Yuta remarked as he read the sign. He then led the three girls inside.

The restaurant had automatic doors, and as they entered, a waitress quickly came over to greet them.

"Welcome!"

Yuta glanced at the waitress, who appeared to be around middle-school age and about the same height as Sora. He couldn't help but wonder if middle schoolers were allowed to work part-time here. Wasn't that illegal?

Deciding it was best not to ask about things he didn't know, Yuta followed the girl to an empty table. As they sat down, he ordered, "We'll start with four juices, please."

Hina, curious about the waitress, sweetly introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Hina, Takanashi Hina. Are you working here, big sister?"

"That's right, I'm working here. My name's Popura Taneshima. Oh, by the way, we have two other Takanashis here too! Takanashi Touka in the kitchen and Takanashi Souta in the front," Popura replied with a smile, charmed by how adorable Hina was. "I'm a high school student, by the way!"
