The work begins.

As Marianne and her father's carriage pulls into Chelsea, Marianne can't help but be struck by the difference between this place and Westminster. The city is smaller and more intimate, with narrower streets and less grand buildings. But it is also beautiful in its own way, with colorful houses and picturesque squares.

"It's so different from Westminster," Marianne remarks, and her father nods in agreement.

"Each part of London has its own character," the Viscount says. "It's what makes our city so vibrant and alive."

The workshop is brightly lit by large windows, allowing natural light to stream in. The floors are made of polished wood, and the walls are painted a clean white. In the center of the room are several large looms, where the cotton and silk would be woven into cloth. There were also a number of tables, where the cloth would be cut and sewn into finished garments. The whole space was immaculately clean, with not a speck of dust to be found.
