Red Espiritual Net (Part 3)

Experts from the future world had spent nearly a thousand years studying the reasons behind the destruction of the Milky Way.

Eventually, they concluded that Earth was the source, and the approximate time of Earth destruction was around 4400 AD, give or take a couple of hundred years. In other words, unless she found a way to leave Earth, her fate was sealed.

Amalia took a deep breath. She could only do her best. With a wave of her hand, she filled the apartment floor with materials from the storage compartment.

The first step in earning a living was to make money through artifact crafting; otherwise, if she couldn't afford the rent next month, she'd be left out in the cold.

Refining Mystic Dust is a challenge due to its high purity.

Typically, the purer the material, the harder it is to refine.

Its hardness also presents difficulties for other Artificers.

However, our protagonist, Amalia, doesn't face such issues.

In her previous life, she crafted numerous artifacts, and Mystic Dust was among her frequently used materials.

Her main hurdle now is her limited strength. Hence, before commencing the refinement process, she erects a fire formation around him – a technique she mastered in her past life, where practice made perfect.

After meticulously categorizing the materials, Amalia assumes a cross-legged position, and a flicker of flame emerges between her palms.

The merged flames swiftly soar higher, setting off the activation of the fire formation.

This instantaneously alleviates the pressure she had been feeling.

Next, she tosses the Mystic Dust into the flames, where it gradually succumbs to the intense heat and melts away.

Two hours elapse, and all the materials are successfully refined.

The merging of these materials is a pivotal step, determining the grade and level of the artifact.

Being cautious, Amalia fears failure, yet she inadvertently overestimates her capabilities, or more accurately, the capabilities of her current body.

During her previous life, when crafting numerous artifacts, she had used her original, significantly stronger body.

Consequently, she calibrated the strength based on her former body prowess, an oversight that ultimately led to the unsurprising failure in the critical final step.

Exhausted, Amalia lies sprawled on the floor, beads of sweat soaking her back.

The once-glowing fire formation that surrounding her has now transformed into a pile of ashes.

Despite the setback, Amalia now grasps where the issue lies. Following a day of rest and absorbing the violet spiritual energy of the daytime, she decides to make another attempt the following day.
