Yannis Yoder (Part 1)

Artifacts can be refined and, of course, can be repaired too.

Amalia received the artifact sent by Carlos that afternoon and repaired it in less than ten minutes.

Because this was an artifact she had crafted herself, she knew its structure inside and out; that's one reason.

The other reason was that the lower the grade of an artifact, the easier it is to be repaired. It only required a few common materials, not to mention that Carlos's artifact hadn't been damaged fundamentally.

Amalia repaired the artifact and notified Carlos.

Carlos might have been busy as he didn't reply immediately.

Amalia logged into the Red Espiritual Net and saw Peerless_CucumberX urgent private messages.

[ Shopkeeper, it's been several days. When will you deliver the artifact to the designated address? ]

"If you're afraid I'll cheat you, you can cancel the order," Amalia replied.

Peerless_CucumberX immediately dared not ask further.

Amalia informed him that she would deliver it in two days, closed the private messages, and checked the next one. However, As she glanced at the name of the private message user she frowned, Yannis Yoder?

Amalia squinted her eyes, the name sounded somewhat familiar. She remembered that the original owner's father also had the surname Yoder.

After leaving home years ago, the Yoder family hadn't sent anyone to find her.

Even when the original owner's father passed away, they hadn't sent anyone to bring the original owner back.

Because the original owner's father never talked to the original owner about the Yoder family, Amalia couldn't be sure if this Yannis was a member of that Yoder family.

Carlos happened to respond at this moment and sent an excited emoji that looked like it was about to faint.

"Do you know who this person is?" Amalia asked him directly.

"He's the second son of the Yoder family. Do you know the Yoder family, Big Sister? They are a powerful family in Big Apple City. Is he here to buy artifacts from you?" Carlos was surprised.

"Yeah," Amalia replied and immediately switched back to reject Yannis.

"Big Sister! if Yannis also buys artifacts from your shop, Hector won't be able to blackmail you anymore. But i heard Yannis is quite arrogant. If he even bought artifacts at your store, others won't have any worries either," Carlos excitedly offered his suggestion.

"I've declined," Amalia told him.

"Why?" Carlos didn't understand and thought it could be a great opportunity for publicity.

"Just know that I won't take orders from the Yoder family," Amalia said.

Carlos understood that everyone had their secrets, and since he hadn't known Amalia for very long, he had no right to ask further. "I understand, Big Sister Amalia, but Yannis is quite arrogant. If you reject him, he might not give up."

"I don't care; he won't know who I am."

Carlos shared the same though. The Red Espiritual Net protected the information of all users unless they willingly disclosed it. People like Yannis, who used their real names as usernames, seemed eager for the whole network to know who they were.
