"Even so, I can't hand him over to you," Amalia said.
The white-robed man frowned, "Why not?"
"This young man is seriously injured and can't be moved. Soon, a large number demonic beasts will be drawn here by the smell of blood. Since I gave my word to protect him, I must honor that promise. Since you are his fellow disciples, why don't we all stay here and guard him together?" Amalia suggested while looking at each of them.
The white-robed man relaxed upon hearing this and cupped his hands in thanks, "Since you are so honorable, we thank you on behalf of our Senior Brother. As for the demonic beasts, leave them to us."
"That sounds good," Amalia agreed with a nod.
Before long, the anticipated demonic beasts appeared in droves.
"Just in time!" the white-robed man shouted while drawing his sword.
His sharp sword energy cut down the leading demonic beast in front of him one by one.
