It wasn't until the aliens had fully retreated that they contacted each other, but no one had any idea what had taken place.

"Did the aliens just retreat from your planet?" Major General Rafiq asked, looking puzzled.

"What's going on?" The other three Major Generals immediately sensed that something was wrong.

"The alien mecha army withdrew here too, but not just now—half a day ago. We don't know why, but they suddenly withdrew."

The Major General from Astralis speculated, "Based on the available information, it seems something happened on the alien side."

"The aliens are almost invincible in our universe. What could possibly have happened to make them abandon the big plan to conquer our planet and withdraw their army?"

None of the highest-ranking leaders had considered the possibility that a force so powerful that even the aliens feared was gathering.
