It was like a planet: if its inhabitants recklessly destroyed and exploited its resources, they would accelerate its downfall.

Earth was a prime example.

Without the spatial rifts and the resurgence of spiritual energy, Earth's eventual fate—whether through invasion by oceanic creatures or depletion of resources—would have been extinction, leaving humans unable to survive.

"Even ten thousand people are a significant number. If things progress smoothly, the population might grow and thrive. Besides, this is just the beginning. I believe there's still plenty of time, and opportunities will arise," she concluded.

"Alright," Kenny Lin shrugged, conceding to her reasoning.

"But we can't just sit back and do nothing. The aliens' mecha fleet will likely depart by tonight. Should we sabotage their Cosmorite Mechas or… 'alter' their orders?" Amalia asked, her tone calm and composed.
