The girl finally answered with a sigh, "Two Hundred gold. Not many around here have that, so I don't expect you" she stopped talking as she heard the jingling of a gold pouch. "Yeah I'm not worried" the shop owner was stunned. "Wow. I've pitched these scrolls a hundred times no one buys them. How about this since you seem nice I'll throw in two element spells for free?" She smiled big. "Deal" Sun Demon said with a glad tone.
"What elements do you want?" The girl asked, walking towards the shelves to search for her new favorite customer. "Flame and Light" the girl looked surprised, "Oh a Duel User. Don't get many around here" she looked through the scrolls and took one from Light and one from Flame. "I don't know you at all. But I have a feeling these two suit you?" She smiled proudly. Sun Demon unrolled the Shadow and read the spell, "White Ash; a fire that cannot be extinguished. It transforms light into a corrosive flame that consumes before it goes out" she read. "Wow this is a nice one?" She said with surprise. "That goes for four hundred gold," the owner said with a wink. Sun Demon's eyes widened.
"Why isn't this locked up?" She asked, confused. "Well see, those four are volatile and powerful. Left out would be disastrous. I am a Magus user so I can freely control them and suppress them if need be. I used to have ten of those scrolls till they took hosts themselves.
Also this entire building is protected by a protective spell of my own design. No one can damage this place, or steal from it" she winked. "I had a feeling you were strong?" Sun Demon was starting to like this girl. "Ya well combat was never my thing. My dad owned this place before me and we believed in knowledge" she gave a thumbs up. Sun Demon unrolled the second scroll this spell was called "Fiery Fists; create armor around the arms made of refined chi increasing temperature and power. The armor is covered in hot flames" she liked this one a lot. "Thanks for these, I will use them well. She then set the purse on the counter. "Feel free to count it. It's exactly two hundred" she stepped away from the purse. The girl walked over and held it in her hand. She coated the bag with chi. Her eyes were glowing orange and then she set the purse down. "Yeah you weren't lying. Easier to use my ability without having to count it out individually. Okay let's complete the transaction. Are you ready? This will be painful?" She explained.
Sun Demon nodded. Shop owner snapped her fingers and the case then floated over to her. She then led Sun Demon to a back door. She snapped her fingers and the doors locked shut and bolted. "I have an area where we can do this without destroying my shop" she explained as they walked into a plain room with runes all over the walls. That led to the floor covered in runes. Sun and the shop owner stood in the middle of the room. The chest set down gently on the ground and rested at their feet.
"Okay so I'm only going to free your scroll and when I tell you grab it" she instructed Sun who gave her a nod. The latches on the chest turned and whirred as it opened up. The scrolls started to float, but with a flick of the wrist she was able to make the other three float back into the chest. While Dragon Roar floated freely as the chest lid closed. She directed the floating scroll towards Sun Demon. "Now grab it," she ordered. Sun did as she was told and grabbed the scroll. When she touched it the scroll seemed to stick to her hand and then was absorbed into her body through that arm. She felt like her hand was on fire as the sensation travelled up her arm and then extended to the rest of the body. She felt an intense burning rage that seemed to come from nowhere. Her bones then felt like they were being burned as runes were etched upon them. it moved up her rib cage, to her neck, and then her Mind Palace had runes etched upon its walls. She collapsed to her knees as she felt like her body could implode. She then forced herself into the lotus position and calmed her breathing. She was still in pain, but she had to focus on staying conscious.
The rage building up seemed to center on her chest and she felt a new core form in it. She felt chi swirling solidifying into a large round mass. She could feel a presence staring at her soul. In her Mind Palace she felt eyes leering at her and the Black Skull inside the pillars began to glow and then engulfed in flames she could hear a roar of a dragon come through as the skull changed form. It began to turn into a skull of a dragon with fire eyes coming out of its sockets. "So your my master? Seems you have quite a rage in you?" A guttural voice came from the skull. "I want to see your true test of control!" She felt her ethereal self freeze and her body did the same. Her eyes burst open and the eyes had become bloodshot. She looked crazed and mad as she felt a blinding sense of rage clouding her reason.
Clenched fists she looked about the room and saw only red. The shop owner looked nervous as she backed away and then manifested a staff. "Shit" she mumbled which then caused Sun Demon to leer at her. Sun then pounced with a growl as she threw a punch only hitting a barrier made from the staff. She bounced off and flew back flipping over and to her feet. Loud boom she was attacking the barrier causing it to crack with each punch. The barrier then lit up and sent out a shock to her. She screamed in pain and was flung against the wall. "I need you to see the reason. I don't want to kill you! You're my favorite customer!" The shop owner said, sending a large bolt of lightning hitting dead center in the chest pinning her in place, "Control the rage, use it to strengthen you to break free," the voice echoed in her mind as she fought the pain and pressure from the lightning. She searched for memories that caused her to feed the anger. Seeing her fathers face she felt nothing but fury seeing his face. The power began to build up in her chest.
She surged all the rage through her body and felt her strength increase. Her vision started to clear and she felt controlled. Under her mask she smiled big and then punched the bolt towards the opposite wall. It exploded as the runes activated and sent a wave dispelling the attack. Sun Demon hunched over exhausted. Her body was smoking and her uniform was covered in soot. She was breathing heavily and slowly stood up. She looked at the store owner behind a barrier. "You have a long way to go. But you seem worthy. I'll make you better" the voice went silent. She chuckled and met eyes with the shop owner. "Sorry about that" she fell forward flat onto the ground.
The barrier dimmed and the store owner's demeanor relaxed. "Well…can't say today hasn't been exciting?" She chuckled at her own joke.

Sun Demon woke up on the ground of the room she fused with a scroll. Only her head was laying upon a pillow. Next to her the girl was pouring some tea into two cups. "Glad you're awake. Been about an hour" she said, sipping her tea. Sun Demon groaned as she held her head.
She pulled her mask down and took a drink of tea. "Thank you" she said, taking another drink. "I take it the fusion was a success?" The store owner asked to drink her tea. "I say so. It was quite a sensation, but I think I found some enlightenment" she drained the tea. "Thank you for everything I apologize for attacking you" the store owner held up a hand. "No need to apologize, I knew the risks with the fusion. That's why we're here. It can resist all damage my father made to practice spells. It's got many uses" she sounded proud. "Well what is your name figured were well past being strangers now?" Sun asked, holding out the cup for more tea. Store owner poured her more tea, "Lola is my name." Lola waited for her reply. "Sun" she said, holding up her cup in a sign of respect.
