• |The day of the wedding| •
Third person POV
The day everybody's been waiting for..... well, not everybody but most people, it was about 1:30 in the afternoon, the wedding starts at 4:30, and Abby had just washed up. The makeup and hair artist was waiting right there in her room for her, and she would also wear her dress at the venue to not draw attention when she walked out the hotel door.
"Good afternoon, guys and girls!!" Abby said whilst walking to the vanity chair
"Okay, miss, what hairstyle do you want?" the hairstylist asked me
"Umm, so I want it cute, with a messy low up-do and a braid connecting to it."
"Okay, you can relax, while I do your hair." He said starting on my hair, it was a simple hairstyle and it took about 20 minutes to finish-
Abby had removed the white from her hair a good 3 weeks before the wedding so her hair could regain its color, it still had a light brown color to it but it wasn't noticeable.
"Wow, it's really pretty, thank you," Abby said smiling at her hair, the hairstylist smiled and nodded before sitting on one of the couches in the room, next up was her makeup, this time it would take about 30 minutes as the makeup artist wanted to make her look as pretty as possible, Abby used her phone for most of it and talked to the hairstylist for the rest.
"Okay, you're all done." the makeup artist said putting the setting spray down
"Wow, you're so good but my freckles, why didn't you hide them?." Abby said looking at her face
"They make the makeup prettier, it suits you very much." She sad smiling at Abby,
Just then, her suite's door opened up and 6 girls walked into the room.
"HAPPY WEDDING DAY, ABBY!!!" The girls said, with gifts in their hands, also with their hair and makeup done
"Thank you, guys, thank you to you guys too for my makeup and hair, see you around," Abby said as the stylists left the room
"Okay, I'll call the driver to come pick us up in 20 minutes," Minnie said, getting her phone from her pocket and calling the car driver.
30 minutes later
Abby's POV
We collected our things and left the suite to go downstairs when we walked out, I thought it would be a normal car but what would I expect from a billionaire family? They had a full-on limo pick us up, what happened to us laying low? I got inside and went to the comfort chair to try and get some sleep, the chair had somewhere I could put my head so my hair wouldn't be ruined and I was super grateful for it as I didn't sleep the night before.
Nervousness at its best.
I can almost hear the noise in the main hall from the fitting room, I was just getting into my dress and wearing jewelry and such, and just then I realized what was going to happen.
I would be living alone with a man I've only known for 1 month and a couple of days, well, not quite alone, since Fenix is probably going to be there but I'm going to miss my friends and other stuff I used to do at my house. I still don't know why my dad took such measures but I guess I'll never know and my head once again started to hurt but not too much.
"Aww, how pretty!! I'm glad you picked that one!!" It was Mrs. Lee, she looked so pretty wearing a dusty blue dress, it was simple but chic in a way.
"Mrs. Lee, you look very pretty!" I said smiling
"Thank you and no need to call me Mrs. Lee anymore, you'll be my daughter soon." She said smiling at me
"Okay, M-mama."
"Okay, put that on for you!" I was trying to put on earrings and a necklace as she was coming in, "You look so pretty!! Abby?"
"Mama?"
"You don't have to be scared, Felix won't do anything to you, if he does then you can call me, ill come beat him."
"Okay."
"Ah, what's wrong? why are you crying?" She said, frowning
"They're happy tears," I said taking a tissue from one of the boxes
"Okay, I'm going to greet Mrs. Kim, I'll be back."
Only then did I realize, my mom and dad wouldn't be here for one of the most important days of one's life. I miss them but I know they're smiling down on me from up there-
A lady came in and helped me into my dress and heels,
I didn't know where my flower bouquet was but I didn't know who was going to bring it to me either, I sat down on the couch using my phone because it was almost 4:10, so 20 minutes until the ceremony starts.
"Oh, my daughter, you're so pretty!" My mom said coming to hug me, "How do you feel?"
"I'm fine, I just need to eat something before the ceremony starts."
"I'll go get her something from the kitchen, Mom," Minnie said walking out of the room
"Here's the bouquet, Min-Ji," Mama said walking in with a bouquet
"Here, Abby." My mom said handing me the bouquet
"Thanks, Mom, thank you, Mama," I said hugging both of them
"Here's the food, Abby, eat up, you have 15 minutes." She said as one of the staff put a cart of food and desserts in front of me, I started eating some carbonara, while trying not to dirty my dress
"I'm done, thank you," I thanked the staff while grabbing a piece of cake and an ice cream sandwich, I'm full now and my headache is gone.
"Is everybody ready?" Minnie asked the other bridesmaids, they're dresses were also pretty
Minnie's dress had gloves as she was the Maid of Honor and the fluffy ones were for the other girls-
Apart from Minnie's 5 friends, we had 2 other bridesmaids that I took, they were people I talked to the most, my neighbor's daughter and her sister. I looked up to see my dad in his suit and him reaching out his hand to me.
"Are you ready?" He asked smiling at me
"I think so."
"The music is about to start, let's go." My dad said taking my hand as the music started playing, the door automatically opened up and we started walking towards the alter, then I saw Felix. He was wearing a simple black suit, not anything fancy but there were eight men who I didn't recognize that were standing by the bridesmaids and the maid of honor. I looked at them, they smiled at me and I smiled back, they looked so fancy in a way.
"Felix, take care of her, okay? Or else you won't live to see a strand of your white hair." my dad said in a not-so-threatening tone
"Will do sir," He replied while taking my hand from my dad's.
This is going to take so long.
20 minutes later
It's the vows or whatever you call them, the part where you say, 'Yes sir' and such things.
It screams AWKWARDNESS to me.
The vows surprisingly didn't take long, I wonder why couples make promises that they won't be able to fulfill. Sometimes I wished they could change the way the questions were asked
"Abby?" Felix lightly shook me
"Oh, yeah," I said turning around to look at the audience
"With the vows that they have just taken, with you being indefinite witnesses, I present you Mr. and Mrs. Lee, you may kiss the bride." The pastor said
My heart started beating, literally trying to jump out of my chest, I looked up at Felix and he leaned it, planting a soft kiss on my lips. A series of applause was heard and I smiled at the audience, Fenix ran up to the altar and hugged my legs, and I smiled down at him as the girls walked up to me.
"Congratulations, MRS. LEE!!" All the girls cheered
"Thanks, guys," I said smiling at them
"Abby, honey, congrats," Mama said to me
"My daughter is all grown up now," Mom said fake crying
"Thank you, Mama and Mom, I'm not dying, I'm just not staying at the house anymore," I said smiling at my MOMs, yep, I've got two moms now.
"Felix, bro congrats," one of the unknown groomsmen says to Felix
"Thanks, dude."
"Girls, let's go, it's time to change." Mom said as all the girls left with my mom
"Could you at least introduce them to me? Or I'm going to call them the groomsmen," I whispered into Felix's ear
"Oh, right, guys, this is Abigail, Abby, for short." He said introducing me
"Nice to meet you, guys."
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Bangchan, you can call me Chan, this is Minho, Hyunjin, Changbin, Han, Seungmin, and Jeongin." The Chan guy says
"Nice to meet you all, excuse me, I'm going to the restroom, come out soon for pictures guys." I went back into the changing room and into the bathroom, I quickly did my business, drank some water, and went to the photo path. It was this beautiful place with flowers and rocky places to take pictures, I saw everybody from both families taking pictures with each other but Felix was just staring into nothingness
"You're back," He said after hearing my footsteps
"Yeah, let's go take some pictures," I said dragging him to where the others were taking pictures
10 minutes later
I went into the main hall, to head to the fitting room and change for the reception but I saw Felix at the very end talking to a girl, even if I saw them, curiosity kills the cat-
Curiosity did kill the cat.
I walked over to him and I heard them talking, Felix sounded annoyed and the other girl sounded too 'pick me' for her own good, I stood there for a good minute until she started leaning in, putting her arms around his neck leaning in, possibly for a forced kiss as Felix tried to push off such shameless manners.
"What are y'all doing?" I said walking in from behind the wall
"It's not what it looks like, Abby," Felix said in a desperate voice, I wanted to laugh at his desperation
"It's exactly what it looks like, he tried to kiss me," The girl said, an ugly pout forming on her face
"Really? I've been standing here for the past 2 minutes and it looks like you tried to come unto him, unless, I'm blind." I said joking, the pout turned into a frown and she took her purse from the counter, she also took a glass of wine from a passing butler, walking towards me, oh gosh, here we go. She walked and walked towards me and as I expected, tripped, the glass of wine flying, I dodged it and stood close to the wall, letting the glass slide on the floor, thankfully, it didn't break so it just had to be mopped.
"Umm, can you call somebody to clean this up, please?" I asked another passing butler
"Yes, Ma'am." He said walking away
"Excuse me, I'm going to change for the reception," I said leaving the hall, bursting into small laughter, I headed to the fitting room and wore my reception dress.
