What a commotion

I started panicking because my shield had not held even though it was very strong. Then it dawned on me. The incantations from Isyx, together with the smoke from the potion, could have made a temporary breach in the shield, which is why all those angry elves could enter the dome.

"Isyx, what are we gonna do? They're everywhere!" My voice cracking under the pressure and fear. "I don't know yet, Lyndis, but it's not going to be easy, I think. Although I could always try to message my mother, see if she is willing to help us." He started with making a message for his mother and then realized that this one would be visible and the elves on the outside of my house would follow its trail. "Lyndis, could you put your spell over this letter just like you did with mine? My mother already knows who you are anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem anymore." I sighed and put the spell on his letter. "I'm not sure it's gonna work, but I sure hope that it does otherwise were going to have bigger problems."

Apparently, the letter arrived safely because the elves were still outside, but they also got a message. We obviously could see the message because it was a bigger message than a normal personal message would be. "Announcements made by my mom are always way bigger than the personal messages we send." The angry elves all left. Isyx and I worked on repairing the shield and the dome because both had been damaged. This time, we made sure that the shield couldn't be damaged by any other spells. Not even by the damaging spells that do exist but really aren't pretty to use. Usually, those spells cost a lot of energy, and they are very complicated.

When the shield and dome were finally repaired and upgraded, Isyx tried to leave the dome, but he couldn't. The upgrade, together with the repairs, erased his pattern from the database. We had kept the shield on lock because we didn't want to be disturbed during our work on the dome, and because of what happened earlier. I unlocked the shield and let Isyx through. I saved his pattern on my phone, locked the shield again, and made some modifications to the program on my phone.
