Two potential lovers, who never realised how much they needed each other until they met.

Bea, a black girl in a predominantly white school, believes that no one will love her and treat her as she should be treated because of the colour of her skin. However, her previous relationship with a black boy, Ryan, enlightens her and makes her realise that she can have a positive relationship with any boy no matter their skin colour.

When she meets Josh, she finds love, a love that she has never felt before. Someone that loves her for all of her imperfections and perfections.

But will it end well?

Girl. What a night. The one thing I can say about Ryan, is that he always fulfils my desires . If you know, you know. He is always so gentle, and puts me first. 


And now as I'm waking up, I realise how much I love him. And yeah, the idea of Josh being my boyfriend is nice, but maybe Ryan was right. I don't need to be around people who are racist. Black girls are too much drama?! 


I'll give you drama. I'll give him all the drama he expects from me and more. 


"Good morning babe," Ryan kisses me on the cheek. "What a night. I'm so happy we-" 


My phone pings and so does his. Ugh it's school. The message reads 'Students please note that the school is closed for the rest of the week due to an unfortunate rat infestation. Please remember to finish all work assigned today and hand in next Monday. Have a great week ahead!!'' 


YES. No school, no Josh, no problems. I look at Ryan giving him a smile. I love him, I love him so much. 


"As I was saying," he rolls his eyes, "I'm so happy we did this. I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused you-" 


"Ryan. You don't have to honestly, it's fi-" 


"No, I have to. I want us to have a clean slate, let's start off fresh. So we can be a happy couple." 


Awww. I have the silliest smile on my face right now. I know I look fucking stupid but I don't care. 


"Sooo. Do you want be my girlfriend- again." 


AHHH. In your face Josh. These are the only words I've been wanting to hear. Now I feel bad for calling him a dickhead. Hmm it's fine. He deserved it. But this is exactly what I need right now.
